Vacation rentals with a patio in Monte Gordo

We had a fantastic family stay (3 adults and 3 children) in this wonderful house! From the beginning, communication with the host was excellent — always available, with useful and relevant directions that greatly facilitated our arrival and stay. The house was perfectly prepared to welcome families with children: we found high chairs, a baby bath, beach towels, a parasol, a hair dryer and many other details that made all the difference. We truly feel at home. The location is great, in a very quiet area, ideal for resting. The heated pool was one of the highlights — perfect for relaxing with the little ones. The nearby beach is also very calm, ideal for children to run and play freely. In terms of convenience, there are supermarkets less than 5 minutes away by car, and right next to the house there is a pharmacy and a cafe with delicious bread (1 minute by car). Without a doubt, an experience to repeat.

We had a lovely stay in Faro. The apartment is exactly as described - spotlessly clean, well-appointed, minimalistic in design, and inviting. You have everything you need in the apartment - nothing has been overlooked. Access is simple and efficient with keyless entry and Tatiana was able to offer early check-in for which we were grateful. The roof terrace is a lovely addition. The apartment is perfectly located, just outside the main restaurant area - so peaceful, but within easy reach in literally a few minutes. The area does look a little run-down and graffiti is rife, but that appears to be the case for much of Faro's suburbs. Still, there is plenty to see, the restaurants are superb, and the people very friendly and inviting. We did a day trip to Albufeira which was fun, and loved returning to the relative calm and ambience of Faro.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment. Close to beach and town center with plenty of restaurant choices and shopping. Place was just as shown and described in pictures. Exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Communication from and with Liliana was excellent. She checked in via phone when I arrived and had someone meet me to show us around and explain appliances, etc. Comfortable beds/pillows and plenty of closet space. Nice view of ocean from the balcony. A large binder with local things to do, wifi info, and general information was provided. Highly recommend!!

The apartment was so perfect for my weeklong trip for a wedding. It is very central (less than 5 min walk to the beach), the view on the top floor is incredible, and the accommodations inside felt both cozy and luxurious. I have shared the listing with local friends, and I would certainly stay again.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in September. The apartment is beautiful, very spacious & clean. Well appointed - there were even tuppaware boxes for us to use! The beds are comfy & good shower pressure. Lovely terrace. Quiet area but only 1 street behind the front & 5 minutes walk to the boat for the beach. Maria was a brilliant host - very friendly & communicative & flexible with our check in needs. We would definitely come back to stay another time & recommend 100% to others. Thanks again x

We enjoyed our stay at Lucia’s place. We stayed with two small kids for 2,5 weeks and had a great time. The apartment is very spacious, pretty and has all necessary amenities. The outdoor space is also very nice. Sunny and private. Lucia was a great host and the communication with her was smooth.

The apartment is decorated to a very high standard and it felt light, modern and fresh. The views are beautiful and the location is quiet and tranquil. Perfect for the ideal holiday. Your apartment is well kitted out with air-conditioning in every single room and a lift in the building for convenience. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend this to any holiday goer wanting to enjoy Tavira.

We loved our stay at the Villa. It is in an absolutely beautiful area, with beautiful views of the sea from the pool. The bedrooms are excellent, with loads of space in the kitchen and living area. Our favourite things were the SONOS sound system and the Barbecue, both made our trip superb. The padel court is a bit of walk but well worth playing- and of course, it’s very easy to get taxis. And then both of the hosts, Anders and Diego were extremely helpful. Both extremely responsive at all times and made our stay even better. We will definitely try to come back next year, everyone in my group had the best time!

Fabulous in all respects: Carla, (her communications, help, humour and charm), the Villa, (comfort, facilities and cleanliness), the area, (quiet, peaceful, relaxing and an easy walk into town) and Tavira, (restaurants, bars, the boat trip to the island and chilled atmosphere). We’ll be back!

We had a great stay with my parents. The garden is very beautiful. The main house is very spacious and is very well equipped. We have young children and they loved all of the toys available.

We adored Michelle’s property, it was the perfect spot for us to relax and unwind, while having endless fun in the pool and watching the stars on the rooftop! The property is in a beautiful secluded area perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday with privacy, it was very clean, great amenities and the most stunning scenic surroundings to the property with a wonderful pool and dinning area where we have lovely dinners and got ready for evenings out together. Michelle was the most responsive and generous host we have come across who offered suggestions, instructions and help throughout the trip, replying with lightening speed. There is no wonder they’re a super post, if I could rate it 6 stars I would! Amazing.

We had a huge crush on this beautiful Airbnb! The interior was beautiful, very clean, very well decorated and equipped! But what to say about the terrace on the rooftop, wow! Filipa even allowed us to leave our suitcases inside long before the usual check-in time, she was very responsive to our requests! At the same time, we were able to meet Linda, the housekeeper, who was also very friendly and who told us about the nearby attractions. The only aspect to be expected in advance is that the accommodation is in the old Olhão, where it is difficult to drive and there are not many choices of parking nearby, so be patient for this aspect, you may have to look for a little while.

The place is quiet and well located. You can walk to the beach in 10 to 15 minutes, to larger grocery stores in 10 minutes, and to the center of Altura in 10 minutes. The terrace is enclosed, which is practical for children and pets. We were very pleased.

A great little flat in Faro, was spotless and in walking distance to the train station, really easy transfer to the airport and 5 mins to the centre of Faro.

We're four friends who had a great stay at José's lovely beach house. He was super-friendly & helpful, and gave us flexibility on check-in/out times. There's an un-official 4th bedroom - it's small with bunk beds & no windows - but it was a nice surprise as it meant no-one had to share a room. The master bedroom is spacious with a big en-suite & there's another large bathroom too. We all thought our beds were firm & very comfortable with soft cotton bed linen. The kitchen was very well-equipped (for a short-term rental), although we could have used another chopping board. The little garden out the back was so peaceful and pretty with a lemon tree in full fruit and a big sociable table & chairs. Another set outside on the front verandah meant we could take full advantage of the lovely ocean/island views and sit in the sun eating breakfast & other meals. We all loved the house, the location and Jose's friendliness & simpatico approach. Full marks all round for a great long weekend

We absolutely loved our stay and were very impressed with the apartment. We know the area well so we were delighted. Instructions were clear and as we had a really late arrival flight and early morning departure the self check in was great. Edi communicated really clearly so that was a big help. The appartment is on the first floor with street view and we loved the shade in the heat. However there was some building noise from a new appartment block across the road so some noise from early in the morning but hopefully that will finish soon! We loved the large balcony and had everything we needed in the apartment. We have already recommended to friends and we would certainly return.

The apartment is located in a gated condominium urbanization, in a block with the best view of the entire development. On the terrace/back balcony we find everything to enjoy the views and the good weather, sofas and chairs, pillows and 2 sun loungers. Inside, the photographs speak for themselves, but everything is a precious thing, especially for those who appreciate details. The only if it is the fact that the swimming pool is restricted, it is a pity not to go in the morning. Otherwise, you need to drive to shop, eat, go to the beach, etc. Overall a very positive experience!

We had a wonderful time in the beautiful, well-equipped and sparkling clean apartment. Filipe was always easily accessible and also contacted us proactively. The apartment is very close to nice restaurants and to the boat dock on the beach. There were always free parking spaces right in front of the apartment complex. We did not need the two underground parking spaces belonging to the apartment. Thank you, Filipe, for the opportunity to postpone the check-out a little and for the many good restaurant tips. I'd love to come back and look forward to the next stay in Cabanas de Tavira and in your beautiful apartment.

Fantastic place and stay, we spent most of the time on the balcony - brilliant to have so many lounging/seating options. The place had a lovely personal touch and really liked the thoughtful lighting - made it all very relaxing. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Perfect stay, it couldn't have been better! We had a great stay throughout November and highly recommend this apartment! The apartment was spotlessly clean, superbly equipped and had free, very fast internet – ideal for our workation. The furniture was modern and well-maintained, and the large terrace was an absolute highlight. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, nothing was missing. The entire apartment complex is very well maintained and quiet, and the beach is a 5-minute walk away – just perfect. The host Rui was incredibly friendly, always available and answered every question immediately. It was definitely one of our best Airbnb experiences, and we will definitely be back! We arrived late after our flight was delayed and Rui was there waiting to check us in and show us around. Apartment in lovely location close to shops, restaurants and beach. We were there with 2 small kids and had great time. Rui was in contact during the week to make sure all was ok and very quick to reply to any questions. Had a fabulous week here would highly recommend.
