House vacation rentals in Mont Saint-Michel

For a stay in Normandy, this is the ideal rental, located between Mont St Michel, St-Malo on one side and the landing beaches, Caen, Deauville, Etretat etc. on the other. Philippe welcomed us upon our arrival with kindness, a small bottle of cider in the fridge as a welcome. He listened to us in relation to what we wanted to visit and sent us good detailed addresses throughout our stay on the different visits and dining places and various things to do in the area. It's 100% satisfaction, we highly recommend it. Thank you again Philippe for all your advice, hospitality and kindness. See you soon.

We had a lovely stay. The place is peaceful! The cottage is very nice, very clean, and the bedding is good quality. The garden is lovely! and the kids were able to enjoy the pool.

Everything was wonderful, we really appreciated the tranquility and the animals, especially Kimi who visited us several times I recommend shopping and cooking directly there as there are no restaurants nearby, the kitchen is really well stocked and in the outdoor space there is also a private grill already equipped with what you need to light the fire.

We were warmly welcomed by Régine and Laurent. They are responsive and very friendly. The cottage is modern and comfortable and at our convenience. It is close to all the beautiful places you wanted to see: Mont St Michel, Dinan , St Malo, Cancale and its coast... And we had sunshine😉.

We had a lovely weekend with 4 couples of friends whose accommodation is well-equipped.

A real slice of heaven… We loved the barn! The perfect place to recharge your batteries in the heart of nature, and enjoy the surrounding towns and Mont Saint Michel without being in the middle of the crowd all the time. This little house has been tastefully renovated, it's warm and you feel so good there. It is even more beautiful than the photos, what a surprise when arriving in the room… The garden is beautiful and very relaxing. And the hosts are lovely. Go there without so much as a second thought!

A big thank you for the quality of the accommodation and the responsiveness of the host. In addition, if you are looking for peace and quiet while being close to Mont-Saint-Michel (15-20 minutes), you are at the right place.

We had a wonderful time in France. The accommodation is absolutely in a quiet area and yet everything is easily accessible by car. The decor is simple, but has everything you need. The communication with Nathalie was great, when the internet did not work she was immediately on the spot and solved the problem in the shortest time. Thank you very much Nathalie!

What a wonderful place to stay - if you’re looking for a unique place to stay that is quiet and so relaxing, this is your spot. The hosts are so friendly with wonderful recommendations, and the house is exactly as described. The hosts were so accommodating to the times we needed and even when flight and rental car delays occurred, they were flexible to accommodate us. Highly recommend!

A big thank you to Etienne and Valérie for hosting us. The house is just perfect for a stay in Saint Malo. Very well equipped, it feels like home! Great location, quiet but not far from the main activities of the city. Flexible check-in to accommodate our baby and finally, very good responsiveness from the hosts who were able to answer our questions. We will be back!

Maison Hortensia was the perfect place to stay for a week exploring the area around Mont St Michel with Concale, St Malo, Dinan, Granville all within a very easy drive. Everything was exactly as described and we loved sitting on the private terrace eating either breakfast or evening meal with only cows, sheep and a green woodpecker to interrupt the silence. We were ablè to walk to the boulangerie in the village for bread and delicious pastries, and gives good exercise for the legs as well as beautiful views across to Mont St Michel enroute. Telvina was very helpful and allowed us to swap to use the parking space for her neighbouring property which was better suited to our car (if you have a car of normal height off the road you will have no problem at all, but we arrived in our sportcar which struggled with a slope). Thank you Telvina for a wonderful, relaxing week.

The space is even more beautiful in real life than in the photo. I recommend taking the time to stroll around the place, enjoying the terrace, the woods and the pond. The proximity to remarkable sites is appreciable. Nathalie's tips, especially for restaurants, were helpful to us. Special touches: bouquet of flowers, filled basket, personalized note, champagne glasses at the spa were particularly appreciated. I highly recommend this beautiful accommodation 🤩

Wow! What a fabulous place! A gorgeously renovated old Property with a modern approach and still keeping a character feel. Everything that was needed was available and more! Delphine was so helpful and responsive when we asked questions. The area is stunning, we visited Mont st Michel (2nd trip), Cancale centre, port, Dinan, Dol de Bretagne, Dinard. We swam on the hottest day at Plage port Mer which is a gorgeous beach. One thing to note only is that you need to reverse or drive out on to a sometimes busy side road. Awesome last minute decision! Fantastic place lots of charm the sheep were an awesome morning wake up with coffee. So happy we booked this. Great hosts, great location. Highly recommend

Absolutely fabulous stay. Dinan is a beautiful town , but having the opportunity to stay in a 500 year old house on such an historic , atmospheric street as the Rue du Jerzual simply enhanced the experience. Lovely house , exactly as described in the listing. The location is perfect for walking down to the port or simply strolling in to the centre of town ( literally a few yards ) to the numerous super friendly bars and many restaurants. Communication with Tim was ideal. Super friendly and super quick response any time we needed to ask or check something with him. The whole experience - town , house , host - was a real pleasure. Very enjoyable stay. Thanks Tim.
