The Cowshed in Bauges

Come and stay with us at the foot of Mt Colombier on the sunny side of the tranquil Aillon Valley in the Parc National des Bauges situated at 920m between the charming cities of Annecy and Chambèry. It’s an amazing place to be for cheese lovers, cyclists, walkers, skiers and anyone who loves nature. We’ve lovingly converted an old Bauju cowshed into a beautiful and comfortable space for weekend retreats or extended holidays surrounded by nature and just a 10 minute drive from the ski lifts.

We have 2 chalets so if your dates are not available please check the other calendar. Within the majestic UNESCO Geopark Massif des Bauges, and between the historic spa towns of Annecy, Aix-les-bains and Chambery. A 2 bedroom cottage with private SPA, terrace and enclosed garden with direct mountain access from a tranquil, traditional Savoyard hamlet. Everything is included (bedding, towels, firewood and unlimited use of the jacuzzi). 10 minute drive to Aillon Margeriaz ski resorts.

Farm dome in Chartreuse

Nestled in the heart of nature in the Chartreuse region, come and discover our freestanding dome on our small farm, Quintessence de Chartreuse, dedicated to plants. You will be charmed by the view of the valley and the 360° cliffs with the Grand Som in the background. Our house and the farm premises are located 80 meters from the dome and its terrace, and are not overlooked. If you would like to stay for several nights, please feel free to ask for information.

Welcome to the Star Yurt, nestled in the heart of a hamlet in the Chartreuse Mountains. Treat yourself to a unique experience with panoramic views of the Grande Sure. Walks are accessible from the yurt. A few meters away, a private bathroom with bathtub awaits you for a real moment of relaxation. This cabin is located in the middle of fruit trees and a huge vegetable garden! Poultry are free around (goose, duck, chicken) 🐤 The river is 30 seconds away with splendid views of the mountains. You have the option to fully open the roof above the bed to admire the stars, even in winter because I have a warm duvet that keeps the heat from the stove 🔥 Shared showers and toilets, 30 seconds from the accommodation.
