Lake house vacation rentals in Monster

Our week end at Mickey’s was very nice. The house is very spacious and peaceful. We loved the big windows and the garden. We also enjoyed some trips to Amsterdam even if it is better to go by car rather than with public transport which are longer. The rooms and bathrooms were perfect (we were a group of 8 friends including 2 couples). Mickey was even available on during the week in case we needed some help or just to answer to our questions. There is a supermarket really close to the house (5 min by walk) which is also really helpful!

Richard and Brenda are very welcoming hosts, no question is too much and they are very proactive. Upon arrival, the Jacuzzi turned out to be broken, but the boat was then offered free of charge, and we were able to do a lovely trip on the lakes. the house feels like a home, everything is in the house to make it a nice stay (kitchen supplies, herbs, etc but also board games, a Wii,...) definitely recommend staying here

We were able to spend wonderful quiet days. The instructions worked out great for the "ferry" to get to the house. The contact was always quick and informative, we felt well taken care of.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped, and nothing was missing. We loved every day in it. The location is perfect – peaceful yet central, so you can easily visit Rotterdam or Den Haag. The village itself is absolutely charming and picturesque, perfect for relaxing and exploring. We felt completely at home and would love to come back. Highly recommended! Michel is a great host and was very, very nice. Bedankt for everything!

We had a wonderful break from everyday life in Rogier's cottage! Rogier welcomed us in a very friendly way at the jetty and patiently explained to us “landlubbers” the handling of the boat and a few special features in the house. We found everything very clean and tidy and felt super comfortable right away. The vacation home is really special! Rogier built it himself and you can tell how much love and passion he put into this project. I can only recommend a stay there, especially for families with older children: sunbathing in the garden and on the terrace, swimming in the lake, arriving by boat or canoeing gave us a lot of pleasure! Attractive bike paths lead to the center of Utrecht and we also made nice tours in the surrounding area. The only small criticism: the road is closer to the house than expected and sometimes traffic noise clouds the idyll in nature a little. We are still thrilled!

I needed a reasonably priced get away and a place outside the busy city to stay while I adventured around Amsterdam. A bus stop was right by the house that made transportation super easy. I felt at home every night I stayed during my two weeks in the Netherlands. The local area is beautiful and really gives you the full experience of day to day life. The restaurants near by were really delicious. I spent a lot of days just resting and relaxing in the home and it was far more spacious than I could have imagined. The location, the atmosphere, the space, and the town all made for the perfect first time experience in the Netherlands. I wish I could have stayed longer.

This is a fantastic place to stay especially if you want to cycle or walk the bulb fields in the spring, which is what we wanted to do and they are right on your doorstep here. There is an amazing beach just a short drive/cycle away, and Haarlem and Leiden are both lovely cities and an easy bike ride. The house was spotless and really spacious, it is just as the photos show. I particularly liked the private courtyard, with its own access at the back which also had a shed perfect to store the bikes safely.

Beautiful house, renovated with a lot of taste and attention to detail. We felt very comfortable there. Sil and John were always available when needed. The wheels are also very convenient to get to the beach quickly.

Everything was great, we had a wonderful time. The little house is clean and very stylish and lovingly furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. The garden is large and you can relax wonderfully outside. It takes a few minutes to walk through a small wood to the lake. The surroundings in the vacation village are perfect for dogs. By car, you can reach the beach in 7 minutes, The Hague in about 30 minutes and Amsterdam in 60 minutes. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Hello, We had a four-day stay at Roderick's house. There was great communication and good instructions. It was clean and comfortable. For a small fee, there were bed linens and towels that were ready. Roderick had responded very quickly to inquiries. Would go back next year.

Great stay, the accommodation is outside the city but finally very convenient because you are not far from everything in a few kilometers: if you go to Amsterdam take the train the train station is 1.5 km from the accommodation (free parking) and it allows you to get to the heart of Amsterdam without stress and for cheap. For nice restaurants I recommend Haarlem nice little town 20km away. And most importantly visit keukhof about thirty minutes away it's beautiful. Basically I highly recommend this rental faithful to the description, in the quiet and in a very nice setting.

One of the best AirBnBs I have stayed in, great place with plenty of room and everything that youu need. great back door to the Dyke and a nice yard for bikes etc. Nice touch having filtered water direct from the tap, also a fridge/freezer with ice maker. All in all a great cottage ad highly recommended.

Me and my family had a lovely time at Hannah’s place for New Year’s Eve. The house is located in an idilic part of the beautiful Loenen aan de Vetch. It’s a comfortable place with great facilities for family time: big dining area, sociable big kitchen, big sofa, beautiful features etc. We would love to come back in summer time!!! It must be heaven then! We didn’t met Hannah, but communication was great, really easy, quick and helpful… thank you Hannah!

This was such a wonderful find just outside of the hustle of Amsterdam! The house was clean, easy to enjoy with a family. Close to the beach, store, transportation. Quick tram ride to the heart of the city but a nice escape from it. Communication was excellent and Guido made everything easy!

Spent a week in the beautiful vacation home of Marleen and Wout. The house was perfectly equipped, everything was very well maintained, excellent!!! Communication with Marleen and Wout also worked out great and they always provided us with all the important information quickly. From Herkingen you can easily reach all excursion destinations by car. We were very, very pleased that we were able to spend our week in Herkingen in this beautiful vacation home. Very pleasant and cozy cottage in a super location. Nature, cool cities and the beach are very easily accessible by public transportation and/ or bike. Super accessible host who communicates very smoothly.
