Vacation rentals in Monroe

The cabin was a great getaway for our family (dog and 5 year old included). It was exactly as described and the perfect place to unwind and get away from the busy world. Before we checked in Thomas and Shelly reached out and told us of an issue with the cabin that wouldn’t be able to be fixed before our vacation.(we had no issues with it while we were there) They were open and upfront with it and gave us the option of continuing our stay. It wasn’t a big deal to us but we were happy to have the information. We had rain in the forecast and Shelly made sure our 5 year old had plenty of activities to do inside so we didn’t have to worry about entering him. It was muddy due to the rain and they made sure we had extra towels for our dog. They went above and beyond to accommodate us with all we needed. Highly recommended staying and enjoying the cabin.

Super clean cozy place. There were even spices in the kitchen which was nice. The beds were very comfortable. Great spot for a weekend.

The place is beautiful — especially the stunning view of the pond from the porch. They have a canoe and paddle boat that you can ride on the pond. The house itself is very nice and clean, and it’s fully equipped with everything a family might need, including a laundry machine, hair dryer, charging cables, extra towels, and plenty of kitchen supplies to cook almost anything. we will definitely visit again. highly recommended for anyone who wants to getaway! also our host Austin was really great and responsive.

My family and I were in town for the Worlds End Ultra Marathon and stayed at Mandy’s home. We all wished we could have stayed longer than a weekend and all plan to visit again. The home is remotely located for a peaceful and quiet getaway. The bedrooms are sizable and the beds are beyond comfortable. The kitchen has so many amenities and the views off the kitchen and living room are out of this world. Mandy obviously takes pride in her home making it welcoming and stocked with anything you should need. We can’t wait to visit again!

This was our second stay at “Camp Maple Lake”, and hopefully it won’t be our last! Lori and Mike are excellent hosts - they are extremely proactive in communication, which makes the process stress free. They have done an amazing job updating the cabin and we were blown away to see all of the changes when we arrived this year. The cabin is well stocked, including accommodations for kids and babies. You cannot ask for a more peaceful setting. The kids absolutely love kayaking/canoeing on the lake. They caught tons of fish and even a couple frogs. We also saw lots of turtles basking in the sun, and a huge snapping turtle at the far end of the lake. This camp has such a fascinating history, and we always enjoy looking at the pictures and reading the stories of how things have evolved over the years. Worlds End State Park is very close and is a must-see! The trails and waterfalls and picturesque (even when you are running a 100k race through them!). Cannot recommend this cabin enough!

What a gem. Took a bit to find the lockbox but that was the most of the trouble. Threw up a starlink satellite in the front by the directv and it worked great. Not too far from town was easy to grab groceries prior to check in. The place was clean and the scenery was great. Very private and relaxing. I’d love to return to this cabin again. A+++ host and cabin. Don’t miss out on this remote hidden gem.

Tim and Cindy were terrific hosts and Hahn is adorable! Their peaceful home is a hidden gem located in the beautiful countryside in PA. If you are a car enthusiast, you will enjoy the drive to their home on the long, winding country roads that take you through some state parks. I've only driven through PA on the interstate, so this was a real treat! When you arrive, you feel like you've just got home once you walk through the door. The house is quite large and fun to explore. The array of happy plants giving off good vibes was an added bonus. The decor is so much fun with really interesting antiques and funny signs. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is within reach. Thank you so much for the basket of snacks as well as the little doggie set up for Henry. My little Henry was over the moon staying at your peaceful home and he enjoyed running around the property. There are a lot of trails to explore behind the house and their property is extensive. 100 out of 100!! Thank you!
