Maddle Brook Safari Camp

JenniferRating, 5 stars21 months ago
Absolutely amazing! We had a beautiful few days at the safari tent - fantastic location - completely secluded, not another soul in sight. Some amazing walks straight from the tent, and lovely evenings spent sat on the veranda. Tent was super cosy with the log burner, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

The Firs Campsite - Pendock Safari Tent

MattRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We’ve stayed in lots of safari tents over the years but Firs is one of the best sites we’ve visited. The cabin bed and den for smaller kids was superb. The whole place was fantastic and had everything we needed. The area was beautiful with lots to do and shops/pubs/park all within walking distance. Will definitely be visiting again. Simon was a brilliant host and gave us some great recommendations. 10/10

Peaceful family getaway

KerryRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This was fabulous! Exactly what we were expecting a very spacious tent we were a family of 4 plus a dog and had plenty of space! It was very peaceful. It was very hot and John even went to the trouble of bringing up a parasol! We will be back was a great way to switch off from city life and connect as a family with no devices! It is very remote - but this is what we were looking for! Thank you all for hosting you have a beautiful place

We had the best stay in Shepherd’s View. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Overlooking a field of highland cows. Even saw some goats and lots of kites. Hot tub was delightful after long day hiking. Close to town and lovely recommendations for food.

Glamorous Safari Lodge & private hot tub

EmmaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
On arrival, there was a folder with info & a tablet for us to check in, get the WiFi & helpful links to local POI’s & activities. We also had some tasty treats waiting for us & the lights & radio were on which added to the welcoming ambience. Clean &tidy with blankets, robes and slippers to make yourself cosy. We were supplied with some wood for the burner & more could be purchased from the honesty shop near the entrance. We were supplied with a code to go in whenever we needed to collect more wood or food items. We just had to tick what we’d taken on the sheet & at the end of the stay, had a bill emailed to us. Only thing I’d say we found a little frustrating was that we were told we couldn’t light the burner on the day of departure as it got too hot for the cleaners. But at 6am at the end of October, it was cold! & the electric heaters didn’t kick out enough heat to warm the place up. But this wouldn’t stop me recommending it to others ☺️👍🏼 Thank you for a lovely stay 👍🏼

Heated Converted horse box

PhilipRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the perfect weekend in Rozanne's beautiful converted horse box. The private hot tub was ready for us on arrival. The garden area was an extra bonus and we really enjoyed using the private seating area with the BBQ overlooking the stream. Rozanne was warm and friendly, and showed us around the lovely grounds and also invited us to feed the Alpacas. We really appreciated the flexibility around checkout times too. We had a fantastic stay. We're really looking forward to the next time we visit.

The Snail, Retro 1964 Eriba Puck Caravan

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Great novelty stay in the Brecons- peaceful, calm and of course in an area of outstanding beauty. Something we’ve never done before! We were grateful for the car to get around places but the Snail is only 10mins away from Brecon itself and half an hour from some of the most popular walks. Does get very chilly at night (we stayed in October) but if you come prepared with duvets etc it’s not a problem.

Quirky converted horse lorry / tiny house

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was amazing. Went with my husband and 12yr old. He slept in the double bed, above the cab, so we could shut the door to ‘his room’ and have time to ourselves. Had an air blower heater, so kept warm. Little cold overnight (too noisy to keep fan on) but it didn’t stop us sleeping. Has a single gas hob for cooking. Rain water for washing and Lydia provided 5l tap water for drinking/cooking (we popped to the farm when it needed filling). Loved that the animals just wandered around. Shame it was too cold to open the French doors and sit out.

Glamping - 5m Bell Tent Between Bristol and Bath

KathrynRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Brilliant first glamping trip with our two young girls (3 and 5). The tent was perfect; it had plenty of space for us all and the compost toilet being nearby was really handy. We loved the wild flowers surrounding the tent, the picnic bench and fire pit. Really safe place for girls to run around without worrying. This trip was so easy and comfortable that was are now considering trying camping next. Great first gentle step to win them all over!

James & Kate were perfect hosts and very welcoming. They were always at hand if we needed anything. To say it's off grid, they provide alot of amenities to make the stay very comfortable.. literally everything you need i.e tea bags, coffee, cutlery etc. It's very private and beautiful on their land. We loved our stay that much, we already plan on going back ✨

Ynys Affalon off grid tree house: Wild Glamping

ScarlettRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A really cool location, and Anjana and her husband were wonderful hosts and very helpful before hand with directions and wild water swimming and fishing locations. We’d love to come again in Summer! The only thing was that the outdoor lights didn’t work and there wasn’t much dry firewood. But the tent is sooo cool and the vibe was up our street. Would recommend!

The Lorry was absolutely perfect. Fire inside, fire outside, gorgeous walks and not far from hay on wye for the books and the pints. Also what really made it was the cosiness and the little touches inside the lorry. Would come again tomorrow.
