Vacation rentals in Monchique

Loved our stay here. We wish we could have stayed longer and made better use of the beautiful outdoor area. This was our favourite place that we stayed at in Portugal. The location is perfect as long as you have a car.

Quinta Alta Vista is a beautiful and relaxing place. Located in the mountains, you have incredible views. Davina and Simon are lovely people who make this place very special. Thank you for the great time.

We had a wonderful stay at Ellis’s place. His wife Camille and Ellis were so helpful and kind. The place is a real gem - so peaceful, quiet and the view astonishingly beautiful. You just have to see it yourself. :) We had our own property with our friends and loved the whole experience. Always again Ellis and Camilla. Thank you for having us. 😊

A quite wonderful stay for our young family of 4! Peaceful, super facilities, stylish surroundings, brilliant hospitality. Lots of autonomy for guests. Highly recommend for people who enjoy a quiet and immersive place to unwind. We hope to come again in the not too distant future. Thanks to Selina and Mitch for everything!

Ruth's villa is highly recommended for a stay in the Algarve. We were there for 8 days and enjoyed the phenomenal view of the coast from the terrace in the morning and evening. Living and dining rooms are very spacious and good. The bedrooms were cozy, beds comfortable. We also liked using the pool. There are excellent restaurants in the area. It is 30 to 40 minutes to the coast. We were lucky with the weather and were able to take beautiful walks in Monchique and on the coast. And in the evening, enjoy the magnificent starry sky over the villa. The contact with Ruth was always pleasant and friendly. Thank you.

The apartment is in a very peaceful, rural setting with a great view over the garden to the coast - and has easy access to the Serra de Monchique and the coast. Parking was easy, the apartment had everything we needed, and Malte is a very responsive host. Thank you.

If you are looking for peace, a great view, a charming cottage with a cozy interior, a kitchen with all amenities and beautiful bathroom, then you have come to the right place at Judite. The area offers opportunities for beautiful walks. Supermarkets can be found in nearby Monchique. We enjoyed and at Lavender Cottage. Recommend!

Amazing place to stay in the Algarve. If you’re not familiar with this area it’s a challenge to find a location that puts you in a place where coastal access is possible and the peace and quiet of Monchique is also available. An absolutely beautiful home with tons of character, views and space to spread out. We were here in the winter and used the living room fireplace a lot which was a nice treat. There’s a decent grocery store in Monchique but stocking up in a larger city beforehand is not a bad idea. Would recommend in a heartbeat and really hope we can come back.
