Tent vacation rentals in Missouri River

Great location, private but walkable to the town, great breakfast. Be aware it is just a canvas tent, but it’s a wonderful place to stay.

My family and I stayed here for the weekend and we loved it!! Everyone was super nice and welcoming, and when we arrived they picked us up in a golf cart with a bag with s’mores. It was really clean and we spent a lot of time around the campfire and playing games that they had. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and so fun to stay in the wagon. Loved it!!

I travel alone with my 2 dogs so I decided to upgrade to the tiny cabin and was so delighted it was available. Brett was so accommodating and I couldn't be happier with my stay. The grounds are beautiful, right next to the private lake. Kevin the grounds keeper was so friendly and helpful as well. I loved every moment of my stay here. thank you so much!!!

A tent with a very comfortable bed. Shower and restroom in walking distance. There is also a lovely bakery in Shell I recommend to check out.

This place was absolutely beautiful! The fire starter kit was a nice touch and so easy to use. The views were perfect for coffee around a fire. 100% would come back!!

Our family had a fantastic time glamping on this camping site! Even though our tent was close to the other campers, we had good privacy and even our own fire pit to do smores! And there were so many fun activities around for our boys (paddle boat, small playground, feeding the bunnies, etc). We highly recommend it for young families!

Definitely a BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO RELAX and SPEND TIME IN the OPEN AIR and A SPECTACULAR LAKE VIEW I DEFINITELY HAVE TO COME BACK !!! The transportation staff very efficient and very friendly , I would just like them to improve in the check-in office a little cold in the hospitality and also they never answered my phone to ask for more firewood but the staff of Loa Carritos was always transiting and could personally ask for wood service but the place IS SPECTACULAR

We loved the tiny cute a-frame cabins! Saw lots of wildlife. Perfect for our mountain biking and kayaking adventures. Beautiful, peaceful location. nice sharded bathroom. Great hammock:) Just be aware there is no blind on door so it is see through and very bright in the morning! Highly recommend❤️

This is one of my favorite AirBNBs I've ever stayed in. it was amazingly peaceful and relaxing. The area is beautiful and serene, and the tent is lovely and so enjoyable. the barn cats are very friendly and cuddly and definitely nearly swindled us into letting them in the tent. We will definitely be frequent fliers at this AirBNB.

We loved our stay at Joshua’s cabin/tent! We went during a blizzard and felt like all our needs were taken care of. We had plenty of firewood and kerosene to stay warm. We felt like pioneers doing everything by hand. This was definitely one step up from camping in a regular tent. Very pet friendly. It is right off of the highway so you hear traffic constantly. But when the storm hit all traffic stopped, which was perfect and very peaceful all day.

Incredible view and very friendly hosts. George is incredibly knowledgeable and so accommodating. Outdoor kitchens were clean and so nice. cabins are cozy and the beds are comfy. Planning on coming back again soon!

Extremely private experience, nestled in the trees. We loved it, very comfortable bed for a tent experience. If you arrive at night, beware that you will be driving off the main road and down into the abyss of trees!

Loved staying at the Rapids Luxury Canvas's! It was the perfect weekend getaway after our wedding. It was clean, had extra linens, cleaning supplies, and a great TV. The sauna was great!

BV Overlook is a fantastic place to rest! The views are incredible and the tent was perfect for our short stop. The bed was comfortable and we stayed warm on a brisk night. Instructions for after hours check-in are at the campground office and are very informative and detailed, which was much appreciated. If you spend more time here the communal spaces are awesome! Unlike any campgrounds we've been to before. The bathrooms are perfect and clean! This was a first time trip to the area from Texas so we will plan to spend more time here on our next outing!

This was such an incredible place to stay!! So serene and peaceful with the river right behind the tent! The outhouse was also very clean and neat and the hand washing station was a great plus!! The bed in the tent was like sleeping on a cloud!! We can’t wait to stay here again!

My friend and I were moved to cabin 11. It was a wonderful location with spectacular views. It felt private. Easy to find, lots of trails for hiking and biking nearby. Cute town of Crosby was not too far away, a few min by car with great restaurants and cute shops. Cabin was as described: 2 cots, 2 picnic tables, a fire pit, a chair on the deck, a small shelf for organization, a small side table with a lamp and fan. Bathroom was nearby and well maintained. We especially liked the windows in the tent and the deck with a great view. Would love to come back again. Thanks for a great stay!

This glamping tent has the most stunning views! The mattress made for a comfy sleep in my sleeping bag, and the space is the perfect size. Peaceful surroundings and helpful & friendly host. Definitely keep your food in your car, a furry friend reminded me of this mistake.. just a field mouse. Perfect little getaway that i would come back to again.

very cute and cozy we only stayed one night but had a lovely fire and met some very nice people at cocktail hour w very good drinks (apple cider w fireball)

The stay was wonderful! The weather was perfect at night 65*! There was an abundance of wildlife around the tenting everyday! The bath houses were super clean and fully stocked. The cooking area had everything you need and the refrigerator and freezer were a big plus!! We will definitely be returning to stay again!! 💚🦌🍂

Debbie’s place is wonderful! There were comfortable amenities and beautiful sites. She gave great recommendations and clear directions.

This place was so awesome. It was really private, plenty of shade but also sunshine too! The bed was outrageously comfortable. It got down to like 40 at night but with the down comforter and quilt combo we didn’t get cold at all. Nice pillows, too. Super dog friendly, there was even dog shampoo in the shower. The bathroom was very stylish and clean, and the water was hot. Towels were available. The kitchen had everything you might want if you had forgotten anything! The tap water was potable and very tasty. We are so grateful! You can tell Stephanie really cares a lot and is a wonderful and extremely kind host.
