Quiet and village but still centrally located, not far from Hanover or Hameln. In summer and winter, the Schaumburg Land invites you to long hikes by foot or by bike. S-Bahn and bus stop can be reached in 3 minutes on foot. The tram takes 15 minutes to Bielefeld city. Good connection with the A2 and A33. You can enjoy the Teutoburg Forest within walking distance. Café, kiosk and shopping are nearby.

A tiny house is available for rent in the Steinhuder Meer recreational area (Mardorf) The cottage is located on a quiet side street. The promenade is within walking distance. 10-15 minutes. There is a forest right outside the door. Behind the house is the bike path around Steinhuder Meer, so you can start right outside the front door. Daily necessities are easily reached on foot or by bike.
