Staying at this traditional Japanese house was an unforgettable experience. The home is full of charm, beautifully set up with thoughtful touches that made it both authentic and comfortable. The peaceful garden, tatami mats, and wooden architecture created such a serene atmosphere. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. Having coffee in the morning at Diane's place looking at the mountains on one side and the gorgeous Seto Sea on the other was worth the trip to Omishima all on its own! I highly recommend this special place for anyone wanting a true Japanese stay in a beautiful setting!

The house owner was very welcoming and polite, at check-in, introduced how to use the equipment for us, also prepared bread cake for breakfast, the house is very large, very well equipped and tidy

This place is awesome! even better in person! the view was absolutely serene. Don't hesitate to book this place. I didn't know iwakuni offered such a beautiful spot. if i couldve stayed longer i would've.

The location of the apartment was great, we had easy access to the train and were in walking distance of all the key sights. The apartment, although a bit dated, was clean and had the necessary basics. The bed was comfortable and the space was quiet. We were satisfied for our one week stay.

It's a good place within walking distance to the center of the city. Overall, our stay was really nice, but there were a few quirks (which we were aware of in advance): 1. There's no elevator in the building, so you have to walk up the stairs. 2. There's no front door in the building, but the doors to the apartments seem secure. Also, the neighborhood felt safe. 3. The apartment got rather cold, so we had to heat it with AC.

Family stay. My parents from abroad were also very happy. The kitchen is spacious, with all the chopsticks, plates, knives, pots, etc., so you can bring only ingredients! Even though it was an old house, the water area was beautiful. There was also karaoke for an additional fee, which made it a good memory. There is plenty of parking nearby, so parking is not a problem.There is also a coin parking lot with a slightly narrow passage. The room was spacious for 4 people, with a gentle floor that my pet didn't slip on, and my dog was also in a good mood.There was a dog crate, toilet, and food bowl, and I had a relaxing stay. I had a relaxing stay with my pet, and thanks to that, I was able to sightsee the next day. Thank you very much.

A great escape from the city, felt like we were the only tourists on the island. It was so beautiful and such a peaceful place to hangout for a few days. This Airbnb is way way bigger than the pictures. It sort of felt like it was actually someone’s home we were living in and was a comfy stay. Highly recommend coming here with a car, there was no busses (maybe some irregular ones) and not really any taxis. Taxi costed us 3000 yen from the ferry. In the end, the hosts drove us to our ferry when we left. Was an amazing and interesting Airbnb experience, I’ve never had hosts like this! On first day they Invited us out for coffee. Last day, threw us a goodbye party and gave us tons of food. We wish we could stay here forever. Full kitchen equipped with cooking supplies and ceramic dishware. Short walk from the beach. It was easy and relaxing. It was very well equipped, which was great.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. We loved the beds and bedding, as well as the sauna and onsen. The host was very communicative and directions for getting to the cabin and for getting in and checking out were very clear. A tip for future visitors would be to bring drip coffee, as there is not a coffee machine. The area and the cabin were so beautiful and we cannot wait to return over and over.
