Single Bedroom stair free in-law suite with amazing sunsets and the feeling of being in the middle of the woods while still being close enough to enjoy a reasonable drive to some of the Finger Lakes best hiking trails, food, wineries and other destination locations. If you come in the winter you will want an all wheel drive vehicle if there is snow on the roads, but half a mile down the hill and you are on the state highway to the finger lakes region.

Amazing stay - felt like right in the middle of the jungle. great views and very very secluded. exactly like described - with a nice fire pit, picnic table and a bench to relax with cool breeze and sound of the rustling leaves. the toilet situation could have been better - no sink in the cabin / toilet was a bit of a hassle but was quite an experience.

Great place! Would stay again. Small cute cabin on a nice quiet property. There is a nice outdoor space to sit outside most of the time. Is about 15 min drive from Watkins glen. We thought it was going to be a pain driving but turned out to be easy drive and very quiet where the home is located. so no road noise. Great bonfire pit outside as well! Would be a great place to rent both cabins and stay with a group!

We had a great stay! The place was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The neighborhood was peaceful and made for the perfect getaway. The host was super responsive and kind, which made everything even better. We’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing escape. Thank you for everything!

We had a wonderful time during our visit. The cabin was secluded and private. Great location to hit wineries and breweries for us, we were within an hour or so of everything we wanted to do(we are used to a 20-30 minute drive on a daily basis for groceries). My favorite was the seating area on the dock overlooking the lake.

This magical, cozy cottage is full of warmth and love. As a solo woman traveler I felt completely safe and comfortable. My dog was relaxed as well, extremely dog friendly. Mary Cay is a gem, a true earth angel. She goes above and beyond to care for her guests and provides a loving, peaceful atmosphere. There’s so many things I love about this country cottage, but one of my favorite is the positive energy flowing all about. Decorated with such clever, repurposed vintage art brings a whimsical, romantic vibe. Whether you are with a partner or on your own self love journey, this place will support your needs with such grace and harmony. I look forward to my return. I miss it already. One of the best Airbnbs I ever encountered. Mary Cay is the most thoughtful and kind host I have ever encountered. This is a gem.
