Stunning Lake Mille Lacs Getaway

Great spot for a group of guys, family, you name it. Played some pool, sat in the sauna, played poker by the fireplace. Pretty much shares a driveway with Mac’s Twin Bay so we could hop on and off the ice easily. Johnson’s is right down the road for anything you need. Sweet cabin.

Lakeside Retreat on Cove Bay (Mille Lacs Lake, MN)

It was the PERFECT place for our large group. Bunk room was perfect for all the younger people, and 4 more bedrooms (3 with en-suite bathrooms!) were wonderful for the adults. Jason was responsive and friendly, and always had the info we needed. The location is gorgeous, even when the lake is frozen. We went to nearby Isle Bowl and Pizza and had a blast. The kitchen is well equipped, there are a TON of games and more than adequate seating for family time and meals. I highly recommend this house. I would like to book in the summer if I can. All of the previous guests were right about Miranda's place - it is fantastic! It was easy to find and there's an adjacent, paved lot to park in, which made bringing-in bags a breeze. The one-bedroom apartment is exactly as pictured, but everything was prettier in real life... if that could be possible! I mean, seriously, it's the cutest Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The kitchen had plenty of counter-top space, the frig kept drinks icy-cold, the water pressure in the shower was good, and the king bed was ridiculously comfortable. There are so many personal touches and cool decorations, but it's not cluttered at all. My favorite was the framed golden deer head on the wall with spectacles and a pipe. Lastly, there are tasty restaurants nearby, plus the location is great because it's 3 min to Father Hennepin State Park for hiking.

Brian was an excellent communicator. We were visiting the area for work and he was super flexible with us which only added to our overall experience. We really enjoyed decompressing in the sauna and just being able to have a nice place to relax. My husband appreciated the massage chair after a long day at work as well. The small town of Isle is just a few minutes away with a nice grocery store, a few shops, and bakery. We are hoping to be back again when we have the time and weather to enjoy the space to the full and fish on the lake! Thank you so much Brian and Ellie for being such awesome hosts!

I had a great stay. I went solo and felt like it was enough room. I loved the back yard and the view of the lake. Our host was very responsive with any questions I had. But I would mention that the window in the bathroom does not have anything from keeping someone to look in. But besides that, I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Izaty's. We stayed in March before the season opens for the summer guests and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the king size beds. We had a little difficult time finding places to eat since some restaurants were closed for the season. The kitchen did have cookware and appliances, etc., so we could have easily made a meal if we didn't go out to eat. Ellie and Brian did respond quickly before and during our stay. We definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful New Cabin at Mille Lacs Lake

This was a beautiful cabin to stay at. Will hope to stay here again in the future! Everything was clean and in order and well maintained home. We did have an issue with the lock being a different code than was listed on the instructions and even the written instructions inside home was wrong code so verify that prior to arrival to make sure code is right. Simple mistake somewhere along the lines but once inside was extremely impressed with the home! Thank you to Martha for a great place to stay.

Wonderful place for family to play cards, fish, kayak and relax. Large back yard for our dogs. Great large kitchen to prepare meals. Everything was clean and comfortable. We look forward to returning for another weekend.
