Ray’s place was amazing! It had everything you could want for a delightful weekend. The apartment was elegantly decorated, providing a cozy atmosphere, ideal for a romantic getaway. There were many charming restaurants and bars in the area, such as Maiden Lane Wine & Cocktail Bar. Parking was convenient as well. I'm really happy we chose Ray’s place!

Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

Our host Ian is excellent and communicated perfectly. The rental is an awesome space to enjoy and is walkable to local shops and restaurants as well a very very short trip to downtown Royal Oak. Excellent area. We were able to enjoy the roof deck hot tub which was an excellent bonus during our stay. I definitely recommend if this space fits what you’re looking for. Again, excellent hosts. We will consider coming back.

I loved staying here. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The market across the street is amazing!!! I felt like I could've lived here forever and been happy. Modern, clean, and safe, we enjoyed our stay in Detroit. Less than a half hour walk to Comerica, Ford Field, and the Arena, there was lots to do and many restaurants to choose from. The living room and dining room seating is tight for 4, but the kitchen counter space is plentiful and the bed rooms are spacious and comfortable. Overall a great place to stay in Motor City!
