Spacious house with large garden within walking distance of forest

We had brilliant stay here. The garden was just perfect for our three sons aged 6,8 and 10. We felt very at home in the house and it is a nice region to explore. Rolde is a pleasant little town. We enjoyed a tree experience nearby, where you climb up steps, then along purpose-built bridges in the canopy of beech trees. Would happily use the house as a base again in the future.

We enjoyed a quiet Christmas in this beautiful chalet, on a fireworks-free campsite. Upon arrival there was a small Christmas tree on the table and there was a nice snack for our dog, very sweet and attentive! The chalet is neatly clean and tidy and equipped with every comfort, and has a fenced garden, very nice if you are traveling with a dog. From the campsite you can walk into the woods and with a car you can look up many other forests and lakes nearby, to walk with your dog. Fortunately, we did not hear any fireworks on the campsite, but on New Year's Day there is carbide shooting nearby. Communication with Angeline was very pleasant and smooth, thank you!

We felt very comfortable . Upon arrival, we had trouble with the key box . We were immediately helped . The house is at the end of a dead end road. That was perfect and very quiet there . The house itself is very comfortably furnished . There may be a 2 couch missing. I was 192 and my wife on the couch was already exciting😁. From the outside, the terrace and everything around was newly laid out . The storage room with the washer and dryer was perfect for our bikes . In general, it's a great area . We cycled almost 250 km . There are bike paths everywhere which is perfect. We will definitely be back . Corina and her husband were available at all times and very helpful. Thanks for that !!! Really a nice and cozy stay with a lovely view on garden and nature. You can walk onto the heath in no time. Everything that is needed is also present in the garden everything perfect. The outdoor kitchen can also be used with rain due to the spacious canopy. Friendly hostess who also responds quickly to the app.

Cozy, beautifully located, comfortable cottage!

We found the apartment very neat and clean. In the small kitchen there is everything needed for 2 people to cook and eat. The bed is soft and cozy. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained, we felt very comfortable. 2 dogs and 3 cats became very intimate over time, but never disturbed. Only food should not be left unattended on the garden table. We were allowed to meet Henriette as a very open, friendly host. Basically, she was very in the background, so as guests we never felt disturbed in our privacy. But she was very helpful with questions or requests. There was only one minus point. The apartment can only be ventilated through the door, and since we were allowed to spend the hottest day in 100 years in Drente, we would have liked a window to open.

We stayed during winter time and enjoyed Arenda‘s and Klaas‘ cozy place very much! The big main room was perfect for our group of 8 people to spend time together, do some cooking etc. The hosts were super friendly at all times caring about our wellbeing! We even had the chance to see Klaas feeding the Alpacas 😁 Overall, we can highly recommend the cottage!

Wonderful stay, nice and quiet. Everything available in the cabin. Close to a campsite with animation and swimming pool. Where my kids had a great time. The deer was appreciated by my two daughters. Jump on the trampoline. Femke responds really quickly to messages. We went for a weekend with my oldest daughter and I thought this was actually far too short. Enjoy.

Previous information about the park and the housing was by no means exaggerated. The complete family immediately responded enthusiastically to what we found around and in the park, around and in the bungalow. There was nothing to criticize on all assessable elements. We loved our stay and everything the region around Westerbork has to offer. The nasty piece of world history that we faced - old and young - could also be well placed in the context of our need for historical awareness.
