Family-friendly vacation rentals in Mid North Coast

Such a lovely getaway with the kids. We all loved the pool table, games and most of all the hot tub! The house was lovely, surrounded by nature. All rooms were comfy. I will note no shampoo, conditioner and body wash was supplied so we had to duck out to grab some. Thanks for the stay! We’d happily stay again.

We had the most incredible stay at this ocean view house! The views of the mountains and ocean are truly breathtaking - we spent hours gazing out at the stunning scenery. And when night fell, the starry sky was simply magical. The surrounding area is quaint and charming, with a lovely quiet atmosphere that's perfect for relaxation. The town is easily walkable, with great coffee shops and markets just a short stroll away. And the beaches? Absolutely stunning, and just a stone's throw from the house! The house itself is beautifully designed, with two bathrooms and a separate toilet room for added convenience. The open-plan living space is perfect for socializing, and the deck overlooking the ocean is the ultimate spot for dinner or relaxation. We can't recommend this house highly enough - the price is incredibly reasonable, especially given the amazing views and amenities. We would definitely come back, and can't wait to do so!"

The perfect getaway for my family! Myself, hubby and 2 kids (7 and 9) had such a lovely time. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature. The walk to the river was beautiful and breathtaking. There was so much to do whether it be playing tennis, exploring the grounds, or chilling at the cabin with a board game. Would highly recommend

We had a lovely four-night stay at the cabin. It was a cosy, well-equipped space with a beautiful view—sunrises and sunsets were stunning. The hot tub was a highlight, and the thoughtful touches like champagne, chocolates, and a well-stocked kitchenette made it feel special. The cabin had plenty of ways to stay warm, and while the bathroom was compact, it had everything we needed, including handy essentials. One thing to note is that the cabin is quite close to Vicky and Roger’s home, which isn’t clear from the photos, so privacy was a little limited—we didn’t always feel comfortable using the hot tub. There were also a few dead bugs on the ceiling, but overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it

It is an absolute fantastic place. Very peaceful with great views. Feels like heaven on earth. The inside of the house is very clean, spacious and has everything that you would need. Bev is a very nice and friendly host and it was an absolute delight talking to her. My husband and I and also our two dogs loved it so much that we will definitely come back here whenever we can. It was one of the best places that we have been to. From the check in until it was time to leave everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. I guess the the only part that we didn't like was leaving 😞. Many thanks Bev until next time 😊

This accomodation was outstanding. Great location and the unit was equipped with everything you needed including some thoughtful items like a coffee machine, condiments in the fridge to a variety of tea and coffee selections. Communication was on point with step by step instructions on how to access the unit and Mark was very reactive to emails. The outlook was amazing, listening to the sound of the waves and the sunsets ❤️. I will be back..

Loved our stay! A really peaceful environment with great activities for family - tennis, bball, vball etc... We also did a photo scavenger hunt and got to explore the grounds that way which were gorgeous. Very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed as we ate all meals in and did lots of cooking. Lovely wood fire to keep warm and toasty and used the outdoor bbq also. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

A fantastic place to stay with family, friends and dogs! It has everything you need: lots of handy kitchen and staple pantry items, lots of spare linen, books, games, chopped firewood and strong and reliable internet! We loved the easy walk down into town and appreciated the climb back up the hill after enjoying the local cafes. Our trip was a bit touch and go due to local floods impacting access but Tim and Wendy were super helpful in keeping us updated on roads opening etc. We really enjoyed the easy going vibe of The Deck and will rebook again 😊

We loved this home. It was clean and compact with lots of space in the garden! The views from the balcony of the estuary helped us time our walks and swims! We had a great stay at Moonee Beach!!🏝️

This place was amazing ! Very cute and spacious with great water views. We loved sitting out on the balcony as there were loads of comfy chairs to choose from. Overall would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing weekend/holiday away.

Long weekend break with my wife, 7yr old daughter and our toy cavoodle. We had such a lovely relaxing time. All 4 of us went out a couple of times on the lake in our inflatable kayak which was just 150m walk from the front door. Total escape from everyday life. Visited Forster twice too to sample the yummy seafood and explore the beaches. Also sampled the smoothies from Kens next door cafe, a must taste...they deliver to the door! Beds super comfy, kitchen well stocked with essentials and the most comprehensive local attractions/recommendations guide I've ever seen! Ken has put a lot of thought and effort into creating an escape haven that you won't get bored at even if you stayed a month!! Ticked so many boxes for us and exactly what we needed for a well earned break. Would highly recommend.

Instructions were very clear and precise. Place feels like home and the kitchen was fully equipped. Great place to stay.

Located in a beautiful, peaceful area a short drive from Coffs Harbour CBD. Host Petrina was very helpful and provided all the amenities, even a bottle of milk in the fridge. We loved the resort pools, tennis courts and beach view. We would definitely stay here again.

Lorraine was very welcoming , made us all feel at ease straight away. He home was immaculate and rooms bigger than the photos . Highly recommended if you need a stay in the area 👌

A big beautiful house that instantly felt like home. We didn’t get to spend as much time as planned using all the facilities.. but would definitely book again when next in Tamworth.

Loved the view from the loungeroom & balcony. Everything was neat & tidy. Lots of books, DVDs, etc. Great smart TV. Beds were comfy. Nice & roomy apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Had a lovely time.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Hideaway. It's walking distance to great restaurants, local attractions and the beach. The place was perfect for young and old, and offered plenty of space to relax. I can't recommend this place enough!

Such a great place! The house was clean on arrival, was a great size and in such a good spot so that we could walk everywhere. We booked last minute and Michael was really responsive and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!
