I KNOW A PLACE, LAKE HOUSE A man built a two-bedroom tented beach house by Lake Victoria, 8kms from Mbita Town. A private beach. He planted trees, grew grass. It's his home but also home to lots of birds, guinea-fowls, and a cat called Oatmeal. When in bed, he can see distant islands and passing boats. Each night he lights a fire under a large sky. He built it for peace, tranquility, reflection and creating. An escape. He is now sharing it with you, so that you can make it your home too.

Rusinga Suites

Take a 10 minute walk from Rusinga Suites to Mbita Centre, where you will have access to all the supply stores. We provide you with running water, a modern toilet, a shower, a furnished kitchenette, ample parking and electricity. The bed will not disappoint as it is a queen size and fitted with white linen. We also offer the services of a trusted tour guide to take you to tourist sites such as The Tom Mboya Masoleum and Takawiri Island.
