"La Fortezza" villa with sea view

La Fortezza is a villa surrounded by greenery and the absolute quiet of its private park, among centuries-old olive trees, a grove of oaks and an orchard. It is located on a hill, just 6 km from the crystal clear sea of Polignano a Mare (BLUE FLAG SINCE 2008 and 5 LEGAMBIENTE SAILS) with its wonderful sea caves to discover by boat. The villa is made exclusively of stone, wood and glass, on two levels, and is characterized by the presence of one hectare of park, a large panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, and a solarium. Inside the park, to stay in perfect shape during your vacation at La Fortezza, a fully equipped gym is available to guests (free of charge) with an elliptical, bench and dumbbells, punching bag and gloves, and total body workout equipment. The wood-burning oven and barbecue are available for guests to prepare and enjoy pizzas, focaccias and outdoor grills. The panoramic terrace, from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the expanse of olive trees, white farms, sky and sea, is about 40 square meters and is furnished with a large dining table in the shade of three holm oaks that "emerge" from the garden below: the wooden floor was built respecting the presence of the trees through the creation of the slots in correspondence with the trunks. Inside the park of La Fortezza you will find flowers and scents and many corners of paradise: rock seats where you can sit to read a book or listen to music, wooden sunbeds to sunbathe and enjoy the sunset breeze. You can pick seasonal fruits directly from the trees to enjoy their fantastic flavor. In the orchard, two rows of lavender to perfume your wardrobes in the city! The park is completely fenced with an electric gate, alarm system and private security service.

The “trulli” house of Valeria was fantastic. So beautiful, over equiped ( nothing missed to us, we had even more than we could spared. Even milk, breakfast food , sugar, salt, oil, vinager …. For free). The rooms, the house and the exterior was big and so beautiful). The place is close from all the touristic place!!! We were really happy and satisfied by our stay at Valeria s house. Allison goes above and beyond. Fully stocked kitchen with fresh eggs ,fruit and wine.Anna brought us fresh pastries every morning, removed trash and changed and refreshed our bedrooms and bathrooms . The King beds and rooms are spacious and comfortable and the exterior has every amenity. Every detail has been thought through. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rosanna’s Trullo. It was just my husband and I but there was lots of room for a bigger family or 2 couples. We enjoyed the relaxed area and would walk into Locorotundo town. We had a rental car to explore surrounding areas. Rosanna provided plenty of information to help us plan things. She was so nice and easily reachable on “Whats app” before and during our stay. We will highly recommend her place to any friends or family! Thank you for sharing your Trullo with us!

We had the pleasure of staying in this trullo for a month with our family of 5. The house felt larger than what the pictures showed. The ceilings in the trullo rooms were much higher than we expected and the outside space was just perfect. So much room for our kids to play. We opted to heat the pool and it was SO warm and comfortable. Highly recommend. The kitchen was fairly equipped, but missing some things I would have liked for this long of a stay. Monica was quick help us with anything we needed and even brought a few things to us that we mentioned would be nice to have (Moka coffee maker and a hand mixer - thank you!!). She was really an incredible host. So responsive and kind. The location is really nice and central for exploring the Puglia region. I felt very safe going for runs around the neighborhood and we really appreciated the privacy of the property. One con: the neighborhood dogs seem to put on a bit of a nightly symphony at around 1am.

Staying in this trullo was something unique and unforgettable. We really liked living in one of these traditional houses. The trullo is nestled in the middle of an olive grove. It was very quiet. We were able to enjoy the warmth from sunrise to sunset. Lying in bed, we could study and enjoy the beautiful architecture and masterful craftsmanship of the interior. The surrounding landscape invites you to cycle. We took a trip to Alberobello, where there are many such trulli. We will always remember the special ambiance.

We stayed at this villa during the week of Ferragosto. After an intense year of work, we needed a quiet place to regain our energy and be with our daughters. Well, Villa Rita was exactly what we needed. Charming villa, spacious, attention to detail, with quality furnishings, embroidered sheets, comforts of all kinds and a clean and large swimming pool that was very difficult to stay out of. Claudia was a host always available during and after the booking for advice or useful information and her father was able to take care of us and the villa in a discreet and polite manner. A wonderful bubble with the scent of citrus. Impossible not to go back.

I have stayed in many Airbnbs in many countries and Nadia’s place is one of my very favorites! Nadia is a wonderful host. The house was absolutely immaculate and there were extra cozy touches that you don’t often get in an Airbnb. She left bathrobes with the towels wrapped in a bundle with fresh lavender. There were plates with a candle and lavender in the bedrooms. Everything in the house is thoughtfully done to perfection. The property and gardens were pristine and peaceful. The house is in the countryside. We loved long walks all around the area. And yet 15 -20 min drive and you are in charming seaside towns. It truly is a perfect spot to relax and slow down but also go sightseeing and explore the region.
