The house is amazing! It goes on forever and the rooms are huge and decorated beautifully. Really quiet, peaceful location with wonderful views. We only stayed for one night so didn’t really get the opportunity to make the most of the house - would definitely recommend for a family gathering or celebrating with friends.

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

Wow what an amazing property, just wish I could have stayed longer. Home from home with more. Comfortable bed/s great quality including bedding and towels of luxury quality. Thoughtful touches on arrival. Local amenities, plenty of restaurants/pubs walking distance. Beautiful local reservoir walks, plenty to do and see. Spa was an amazing added bonus to enjoy your stay with full relaxation under the stars and after a long walk. Will definitely stay again and have recommended to my family and friends already. One of those weekend breaks that you don't want to end. Thanks for everything.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

Stayed with a group of friends - was fantastic, the gaming room, the pool, the garden/bbq areas, freshly cut football pitch. Only issue was one of the wifi routers didn’t work, but we worked around it.

Comfortable and cosy cottage, and lots of space to host 8 people. We loved the living room in particular! Worth noting wifi isn’t included but can be purchased fairly inexpensively. The cottage is on a holiday park with a shop, pub and helpful people on site should you need any help. Recommend!

really enjoyed our stay the property exceeded our expectations. Great location

We stayed six weeks, late April through early June. The house was perfect for my wife and I and we really enjoyed the home and rural but close to everything location. We decided to use bus and train passes with the occasional taxi and saw so much more than renting a car as we have in the past. We walked up the hill everyday to the house from the main road and at 70 years old we had no problems, it was good exercise before bed each evening. Susan and her husband Mark were perfect hosts, we saw them often and were very helpful. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Our best recommendation for this home is "We will stay again." At different times we walked all the local canals from Todmorden to Brighouse in sections, visited dozens of local villages and took the train to Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, the airport and even down to London and Kent. Our bus passes also allowed us to roam all over Yorkshire.

Absolutely lovely place to stay 😍 can't fault it. I would definitely go back for another stay. the garden is beautiful. we went to visit Piece Hall nearby which was very nice. the host is very helpful and responsive. 10/10

MC was very friendly and flexible and gave super clear instruction to the coach house. The coach is lovely and fully of history and very spacious and well finished.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage; fabulous location within easy walking distance of all local attractions. Well equipped and very cosy it exceeded expectations! Beds were so comfy too.

Brilliant cottage to stay in! Perfect spot to explore the local area, we walked back from next level restaurant in Halifax but had taken the bus into the center. Great close by sights to see and explore, such a good spot for Shibden Park literally around the corner from the cottage. Couldn’t fault the cottage at all! Extremely well kept, set up and Nicole was on hand super quick with any queries and recommendations. Just a shame that we could stay and explore for longer! We stayed as a family of four (6yrs+8yrs) great as a base for Eureka. Thanks again for a great stay

Great cottage! Like home from home, very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Beautiful walks around the cottage and a lovely pub 5 mins walk away. Would recommend this cottage, had a fabulous little break with all the family. Many thanks.

What a wonderful find. Francesca's house was spotless, beautifully furnished and decorated and well equipped for all our needs. The area is lovely with walks along the canal just a few minutes from the door. When we had an enquiry, Francesca responded within minutes. We can't recommend this place highly enough. Thank you!

Beautiful cottage in ideal location. Directions to the cottage and parking instructions were made very clear. Accessing the cottage was made easy with a key safe box. Upon entering the lovely light and airy entrance hall the small of fresh flowers and bedding welcomed us. Each room was clean and fresh and extra touches added a luxury feel. Views are outstanding, kitchen is very well equipped with everything we needed. Zoé was very responsive to messages and went above and beyond to extend our stay slightly. Thank you Zoé and family x

What a beautiful home! Very high spec and felt homely, fantastic space which was light and airy. Fabulous touches to the place and loved the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area with height towards the upper floor. Bedrooms were spacious and decorated so tastefully. The outside area was amazing!! So much space on different levels and an awesome firepit area. The accommodation and outside areas matched the photos shown on the site. Super easy to get into Sowerby Bridge and beyond and see the rolling hills all around. I appreciated the information sent before our visit and Joseph was very responsive to all comms. Just book it!! You wont be disappointed…just delighted x

I stayed at Jo's place for 2 nights with a group of friends and it was so lovely. Beautiful accommodation and thoughtful touches by the host to welcome us to our stay. The whole place is presented well and had everything we needed. Great parking, as we managed to fit 5 cars on the driveway. The views from the house are gorgeous too. Conveniently near to a Tesco Express and a short drive to Huddersfield. Would happily return!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Airbnb, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The property is nestled in a stunning location with breathtaking views. Waking up to the surrounding natural beauty each morning was such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. There are excellent walks right on your doorstep, allowing you to explore the beautiful scenery and unwind in the tranquility of the area. The local town is lovely, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or a meal after a day of exploring the area. Kelly, the host, was incredible. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, offering great tips and being informative about the local area. The little treats she left for us upon arrival were such a thoughtful touch and made our stay even more special. Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would 100% recommend.

Perfectly located within easy reach of all shops/restaurants - We have a BMW X5 it was difficult getting parked behind the house but we had been told this by the host that car access was narrow and was able to park in the car parks no problem Loved having the lounge on the top floor with gorgeous views over the valley Will definitely return the house was beautiful with plenty of room for 2 couples…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Stunning Stay in Holy Green! I had an incredible stay at this beautiful house near Halifax, just a short drive from Leeds. We stayed for a weekend as we were guests at a wedding down the road. It’s easy for Ubers/taxis to find the house which is always a bonus! The home was spotless and the interior design was absolutely stunning—every detail felt thoughtfully curated. One unexpected highlight: the towels! So soft and luxurious, they made the stay feel even more special, along with the lovely bathroom. The stone flooring added a lovely rustic charm, though I’d recommend bringing slippers for extra comfort. 😄 Overall, the home exceeded my expectations in every way. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, stylish getaway in the area!! 🏡💓

Hannah’s place was perfect, great for walks and enjoying the Holmbridge area. It was very well appointed, clean and just as described. We also appreciated the extra touches, like bottled water and coffee, as well as all the essentials (and more) that you might need. Would highly recommend!
