Tree Top Loft in Acadian Forest

What a fantastic place and a wonderful host Tim is. The property was beautiful and so well thought through. The property is really light and airy with the high ceiling and lots of windows. Bed was comfy. Kitchen well equipped. And we really enjoyed the record collection and player. We spend a few hours on an evening just sitting and chilling, listening to some records, and looking at the windows over the garden and lake. You absolutely MUST go for a swim in the lake while staying here, or even take out a kayak or the pedalo. The lake is a dark water lake as it has a lot of iron in it (as Tim told us), but the water is very very clean, and the temperature just right when we visited in early August. Beautiful to swim in. Tim was always on hand to answer any questions about the area and the history, and to give recommendations for places to see, eat, and shop etc. Hopefully one day we will be back out this way again, and this would be the first place we'd try to book.

The cabin was beautiful and in a wonderful location with a view of the Bay of Fundy, and just a short 15 minute drive down to a few beaches! Within driving distance of a number of restaurants and grocery stores but still far enough away to have the get away feeling! We enjoyed our entire stay, including the variety of games and books in the cabin to stay entertained in the evenings!

This is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy all that nature has to offer on Brier Island. Thoughtful touches throughout and would most definitely stay again!

This place is beautiful, private and well-stocked with anything you need! We’ve stayed here before and would be happy to stay here again. The location is central in the area with only short drives to nearby beaches and amenities. The hosts respond very quickly and ensure our stay is comfortable and pleasant. The Port Maitland Beach house

Gorgeous property. Better than photos convey. Decor is very tasteful, bathroom large and beautiful shower. Everything was done thoughtfully and professionally. Hosts were very responsive and clear. We got some snow during our stay and they were on top of having everything shoveled. Stayed for Christmas while visiting family and couldn’t get over how cozy the place was. I felt like I was staying in the Nova Scotian version of Kate Winslet’s cottage from “the holiday”. Would be gorgeous in the summer too.
