Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Merzig-Wadern

We stayed one night in this cozy little cottage – me, my wife, our daughter and two little grandchildren. The house was very clean, comfortable and exactly as described. We would like to highlight the warm hospitality of the hostess Hildegard – she was attentive and kind. We felt like at home. Thank you, Hildegard!

We spent an extended weekend with 6 adults and a toddler in Christina's mill house. It was a wonderful stay. What I particularly liked was the cozy furnishings and the thoughtful layout of the rooms. With 8 people, you have a lot of shared space available, space for private retreat with a total of 3 bathrooms (2 bathrooms en suite) and a separate toilet. Christina has an eye for the decorative detail, which has made every room wonderfully cozy. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Only the Wi-Fi could not be received in every corner of the house, which did not detract from our stay. The nature around the mill house is just amazing!!! Thank you very much, Christina!

We were only there for a few days but enjoyed our stay. The house is clean and well equipped, and there is a large meadow in front of the house. Parking is also available. The contact with Jordan worked perfectly. We will be happy to come back :)

The space and the surrounding area was great. We had some bad luck with the weather, but were able to make ourselves comfortable at home in the evening. A previous description of your high-tech coffee machine would have been interesting, then I wouldn't have carried my Nespresso with me😉 Great: there was more than enough of everyone, dishes, cutlery, glasses and cups, so you didn't have to flush or wash the dishwasher all the time. High praise also for the cleanliness. A small coffee table in the TV area would have been great, but that's also the only thing that wasn't there. And: we slept great.💤 I had the deposit back in the account a day later. Everything is great! Drive there and enjoy the view - especially at night!

Our first introduction to Airbnb was immediately a good one! what a beautiful spacious, clean apartment and equipped with every comfort. we had a nice time (despite the rain)

We booked the place for a business purpose so our visitor has an apartment close to the company. That was perfect. From Hetzerath, the bus connection to the IRT Föhren is well developed and even without your own car you can get there at any time. In the immediate vicinity of the property you can reach a supermarket, a bakery and a butcher's shop in a few minutes. The apartment itself has a private entrance and is super equipped. Thank you for this great place and the friendly and uncomplicated contact.

Great stay, would definitely recommend this extremely clean place. Nice environment close to forests and within drivable distance from larger cities (such as Trier and Luxembourg).

In Andreas' apartment "Hochwald Oase" we felt very comfortable during our stay, we would have liked to stay there much longer. The location of the apartment and the amenities are beautiful, everything is super clean and new. The value for money is very good. With our 6 dogs, we were warmly welcomed. There was even a bowl of water and treats available. There is always a contact person available, but we did not need them, as everything was in perfect order. The surroundings invite you to relax in nature and are a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. This is a place you'd like to come back to. Thank you for the nice hospitality!

The contact was incredibly friendly from booking to departure. She responded quickly to messages and was also spontaneously available by phone to facilitate the search for parking. A few hours before arrival, we were able to easily move our check-in forward - it doesn't get better. Upon arrival, someone also came out directly to show us the way. From front to back, she was very eager, be it cozy additional blankets, a phone call the next morning, whether we slept well or the great, small breakfast plate. Just great! It's not excluded that we will come again in the summer! At the beginning of March, it was a little too fresh - especially to be able to use the beautiful outdoor area properly.

Florian's house is a real treasure. In the middle of nature and incredibly beautifully decorated. The sauna and wood stove make it so special. You get exactly what's in the description. Those who have nothing to do with nature and the heating of stoves should rather look for something else. For us, it was just the thing. We will definitely be back.

For us, Florian's place was just the thing. We wanted a lot of nature and a quiet place where our two dogs could also vacation. The cottage has everything you need. The highlight is the garden, which borders directly on field/hiking trails, so you can start directly from there. The Moselle can be reached in about 30 minutes by car, and shopping can be reached in 15 minutes by car. Communication with Florian is easy. You have to adjust to the fact that only the fireplace is used for heating. Which is certainly not necessarily always "comfortable" in winter. For our travel time, however, that was all no problem, we found it very cozy and would have liked to have stayed a few days longer :).

We would describe Harald's place as a beautiful spot to go glamping, with the luxury of a normal roof, soft beds, a private shower and toilet and the option to cook. Absolutely beautiful area and Harald is very responsive and had some good suggestions for us to do around the area. There's a fire pit available where you can roast your meat above fire, when it's not raining. What we did not expect was the 40 fishermen at 6 AM who will stay around the cabin until 6PM, who use the public toilet right below the cabin. From the initial photos and location it wasn't clear that this was a fisherman's spot, and our son was looking forward to be able to swim close to where we sleep, which was only possible after 6PM. It was his idea to go camping, we didn't want to sleep in a tent so we settled in between :) Turned out our son had a different idea of camping so we left early. Still a lovely spot!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Virginie is incredibly friendly, helpful and responds very quickly. The cottage is very clean, cozy, hip and beautiful. Everything we needed was present. The shower worked well and the beds were fantastic. We did everything by public transportation. It is only half an hour walk from the train station or fifteen minutes from a bus station. The surroundings are very idyllic. We did a very nice walk along the babbling water and through the woods. We have returned home completely relaxed. We therefore highly recommend it!
