Beachfront Guest Suite by the Hill

Our guest suite is located in Kampung Juara on Tioman Island. Situated at the hillside on the northern side of Juara bay - with an amazing view of the whole bay - it's surrounded by pristine rainforest and beautiful nature. Peaceful and private area with a river separating the property from the common beach area. At high tide the river can be crossed with one of our shared kayaks - or just by wading through the water - and during low tide it's easy to walk in and out of the property.

Location is 3 min walk to the sea. This house is new (new fittings / toiets) and is part of a development of several new houses. House is roomy and well ventilated with may ceiling fans. Easy access to main road and road access along beach front where many local recommended eateries like UCU (great for lunch), Brother Joe (Ikan Bakar by the beach) to this great place with lots of room for fun.

This property looks just like all the photos and even better in my opinion. Bedsheets and blankets are fresh; rooms are spacious, well ventilated and sparkly clean; all air con worked well. owner steps up to help immediately when needed. Water filter is a plus. Only recommendation I could make is to add on a microwave.

May and Kelly were great hosts. The place is clean and as pictured. The location is great, towards the north of the beach, not crowded at all, even during school holidays. The children enjoyed the beach a lot. The bathroom is clean and modern, with hot water, which is very appreciated by my girls. They offer a lot of activities, we went on snorkeling trip and went to Ali's Waterfall. My son fell sick during the trip and we had to cancel snorkeling for him - May was very concerned and asked if we want her to get medicine from the local clinic. We didn't need to, but it was very kind of her to offer. It was a great stay.

My stay here was absolutely delightful. The location is beautifully set in the jungle, but within walking distance to the beach (which is stunning by the way). To add to the charm, the property was built from recycled materials which adds a nice touch. Walking around the village and beach you can often see the giant fruit bats in the palms, as well as small monkeys, and a variety of butterflies. My hosts, Jeffree and Xin, were wonderful and went out of their way to look after me. They also offer snorkelling and diving trips. Lastly, Juara is such a friendly place and it attracts likeminded travellers. Highly recommended.
