Bob's Cottage Mansfield

Bob's cottage is a unique, private, self-contained high-country accommodation, located on the historic Delatite Station, a 4,000 acre working farm. It was originally built in the 1930s for Delatite’s first full-time gardener and has recently been renovated. Nestled into the side of a hill, above the Delatite river. The farm cottage has glorious views across pastoral river flats with the ever-changing colours of the mountains as a backdrop. Perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway.

When people look for a rustic getaway, they often mean 5 star wrapped in corrugated iron. This is not that. This is truly rustic - old timber from the cattleyards line the base of the walls. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs. Delatite BnB offers cosy accommodation for couples right on the banks of the beautiful Delatite River in Merrijig. Just a 3-hour drive from Melbourne and 15 minutes from Mansfield, our boutique bed and breakfast provides the perfect getaway in the heart of Victoria's High Country. The accommodation has a queen-size bed with a modern en-suite bathroom overlooking the river. A healthy light breakfast of fruit, yogurt, cereal, home-made muesli and juice is included.

The house is close to the high country with beautiful views. The apartment is ideal for a small family or couple. Even though it is attached to the house it is very private. All bedding/towels etc. supplied. Guests interested in accessing Mt. Buller for the snow season, mountain biking, bush walking or just taking in the wonderful scenery will find this location ideal. Comfortable and eclectic, this self contained one bedroom studio (one of three) has been built almost entirely from recycled materials. Located at Alpine Ridge, in the heart of the high country and just 4 kilometres from the base of Mt Buller, it is perfectly located for exploring this pristine area. Suitable for people who love the mountains and everything that goes with it. Two other studios are also available.

Wild Fauna is a large open plan modern house in beautiful surrounds. The spacious living, dining and kitchen area has all the room to spend your holiday with all the family. The expansive deck is the perfect place to spend summer evenings with the local wildlife, overlooking magnificent views and winter nights are cosy in front of the fire. The kitchen is well equipped and has a large social island.
