Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Mermaid Beach

Glenn and Karen were great hosts right from start. They called us early on the day of check in and offered us an early check in. Plenty of space and bedding for our family of 5. Great spot right on the beach over looking the Pacific Ocean as well as Coolangatta to the south and Gold Coast to the north. And pool and spa were a big hit with kids. Highly recommend this place to families. Cheers the Many Family

Great place to stay with kids. Ground level made it really easy with the kids, in a private area as well. Pool and tennis court (free hire of rackets and balls!) within 25m. Amazing location, across the road from all the action at the beach and in walking distance to a heap of pubs and eateries. View whilst playing tennis was unreal on dusk. Was a little tricky finding the car park on arrival at night time, but once we worked it out it was a breeze. Kristy was super responsive to all of our queries and was really flexible with check and check out with notice. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the resort. Julie was an amazing host and very responsive and helpful. The apartment was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The main bed is ultra comfortable, could stay in it all day if it weren't for so many things to see and do. The Thai restaurant downstairs is delicious and the pool kiosk was our go to every morning for breakfast. The games room at the end of the hall was a bonus for our 10 year old. great place to stay for families. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay, clean and tidy, Jodie was quick to reply to any questions, comfy beds, great views of the hinterland and awesome location. If I had to pick one thing it would be only having one key was a bit of a pain at times. I would recommend this place to others.

Great apartment, with fantastic views, in a great location. Walk across the street & you will find a kid friendly park with playground, then just a short stroll to Kirra Beach. Lots of dining options within walking distance or a short trip to nearby areas & even more options. Overall great place for a short break or extended stay.

Great place to stay was there for a week while I was on holidays on Gold Coast every thing u need like shops was in walking distance and when I neeedes any info Paulo replied in a good timely manner and was well informed me about getting into the apartment

As a family we have stayed at many places on the Gold Coast - but none better than this place!! The view is breathtaking with balconies on 2 sides of the apartment overlooking the Esplanade right in Surfers Paradise. While the building is dated there is secure parking, a great pool area and the room was clean and welcoming. Everything was functional and John was a very responsive and accomodating host. Amazing value with so much to do within a very short walk of the apartment. Patrolled area on the beach literally 50m walk. Just perfect 👌

Perfect for a family/group. We enjoyed the pool and golf area. Very comfortable beds and couch. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious. Location was perfect and walking distance to Pacific Fair. We'll definitely come again. Thank you Harry!

Amazing place! Doug and Deb's place is peaceful and comfortable. It is close to restaurants at Kingscliff and Casuarina or has everything you'd ever need to cook for yourself - we did a mix of both. The house is very welcoming and the beds very comfortable. There is a lovely walk to the beach and 2 cafes and there is also a dog friendly beach about 15-20 minutes' walk in the other direction. Don't miss Cubby cafe at Chinderah - a very short drive away. Go early to get a blueberry and lemon curd muffin - they're all gone by about 11am. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxed 9 nights and highly recommend the house and its location.

We had the best weekend where 5 couples all flew in from different places to celebrate a birthday! The house was so big and spacious and had everything we needed for cooking a bbq to listening to music! Fantastic stay.

Terrie was a fantastic host, friendly and very helpful. Check in was super easy. The 2 hour parking meant that we had to squeeze two cars into the driveway, but that was easy as our cars are not too big. The place was spacious and great for our dog. It has absolutely everything, from shampoo and conditioner, to coffee and sugar, and cleaning products. Felt just like home and we really didn’t need to pack as much as we thought. Would 100% stay again.

This is a genuine family home, it feels like the owners have just stepped out and left you their luxury country retreat to relax in.

We absolutely loved our stay, 6 adults and a 10 yr old boy who fished off the pontoon daily. Really close to supermarkets, plenty of dining options close by. Surfers and the beach a few minutes If you have young kids there were portable cots, strollers and high chairs in the house. We made use of the bbq, all utensils provided. Kitchen perfectly stocked for home cooking. This place really is a home away from home. Wayne was really responsive and great to deal with. I can’t recommend this place enough, we all loved our stay.

A single Dad travelling with his 15 year old son and stayed at Johnny's Beachside apartment for eight nights. The space was perfect for us. The room was clean, comfortable and felt fresh and modern despite being in an older building, a testament to the care Johnny has put into creating it. The location was just about perfect - close enough to the action of Surfers Paradise but overlooking the more peaceful end to the North. Beds were clean and comfortable. My Teenage son slept on the Sofa bed and reported that it felt like sleeping in a real bed. The big screen TV is also a handy inclusion for the inevitable Gold Coast night where it is just too rainy to go out. Fortunately we had just one of those. What we will both miss the most though is the pair of Lorikeet friends who joined us each morning for breakfast and sang for us from the Window railing. Thankyou Johnny for a great stay and I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Jacinta’s Place was great for what we needed. A wonderful location for taking in beautiful Kirra sunrises & sunsets, surrounded by cafes & restaurants and walking distance to Coolangatta.
