Our stay was great. Very convenient to everything The unit was very well appointed and had everything we needed. It’s better than the photos. We will return again.

This apartment is impeccable, a dream. The view of the harbour is superb & if we hadn’t been there to run the Newcastle marathon we might never have left the apartment! When we did leave we were right in the hub with easy transportation & great restaurants in walking distance. Every aspect of the apartment is well thought out, beautiful & luxurious. Thank you, we already can’t wait to return!

My partner and I, and our 3 kids (between 5 and 8) had a great time! The house has a hot-water outdoor shower to get properly clean after a day at the beach. You can watch the beautiful sunrise across the ocean from the large living room windows. The kitchen has PLENTY of cooking utensils and crockery. TV has all the apps. The ping pong table downstairs was also worth it. It's useful to know that three of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs, and one queen bedroom is upstairs where the rest of the action is. The front balcony is nice and spacious, and the deck out to the back is HUGE! The location is extremely quiet, you can hear the waves on the beach. It takes about 3-5 minutes walk to get to the beach, it's very, very close.

Elizabeth's place was fantastic for the two of us. It was pristinely clean and tidy. The photos matched the description of the property accurately. Location was perfect, being 300m from a patrolled beach, and a short 500m walk to patrolled ocean baths. It was near to plenty of cafe's and restaurants, and close to bus stops. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, with excellent communication skills. She was proactive with instructions and information to assist us in our stay, including suggestions for activities alternate to the beach/pool. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely gorgeous stay at The Butler. Such a beautiful, humble beachside home with every amenity you could ask for. The weather was not on our side for half our stay, but there was plenty of board games to keep the little one occupied (and thank god for WIFI). For the days where we had sunshine, the back deck was a favourite - listening to the birds and the waves crashing while reading a book in the sun, it doesn’t get any better. A massive thank you to our hosts, we were lucky with an early check in and throughout our stay they were wonderful and attentive. It’s also worth noting how lovely the Budgewoi community is itself, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We will be back! Thank you again

10 stars! The longer you stay in Keran’s studio (and Newcastle) the longer you will want to stay. As frequent airbnb’ers we SO appreciate the considerate built-in storage spaces, HOOKS (!), all the kitchen supplies needed to cook meals, etc.! Keran spoiled us: cheeses, fruit, butter, gluten free crackers (she asked about dietary requirements!), OJ and more. Any anxiety about lack of outdoor space was quelled by a cute cozy basement style patio and the fact that Newcastle Beach and its shaded chill spaces is only a few minutes’ walk away. I have to mention the bathroom which had the most sophisticated lighting I have seen. Plus a great shower, just bring your shampoo. Public transport is nearby but we were happy to have a car to explore and traffic was a non-issue. Smaller car is best. Restaurants in walking distance as well as ocean pools (a must!). Best grocery stores by car. We met Keran who was great about checking in w/us and suggestions. She lives above in this historic complex.

Great place! Very spacious rooms absolutely perfect for family. En suites in each room are really practical too. Would recommend!

My partner and I had such a lovely stay at Nicole’s place. It was quiet and private with walking distance to the beach. Great location for morning beach walks and dinners at the nearby Caves hotel. Nicole was very responsive and left us notes with great recommendations for food in the area. The only sad part was we wished we could’ve stayed longer! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a beach getaway. Thanks Nicole!

Great location - so close to the beach. You can tell Lara has put a lot of thought into the airbnb. There is great finishing, the pool is lovely, aircon, nice appliances and lots of light. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic location right on the beach with easy access to restaurants. All facilities expected in terms the apartment were great. Very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay. Hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The place is as pictured. Although small, it was more than adequate for the two of us. Nice and bright with a view of the ocean and park across the street. Super easy walk to beach and “baths.” Great coffee shops nearby (Good Brother” and “Xtraction”) and excellent restaurants (Humble Thai and Lock’s Paddock), both just down the street. Would definitely just stay here again. Would have stayed longer if it had room for one more person. Note: if you’re a light sleeper, it might be a bit noisy, but with windows closed for sleeping we were not bothered—seemed to be very few cars after 9 or 10pm.

Robert and Stella were very friendly and helpful hosts. They had great local recommendations, a thorough instructions book and quick response times. Seamless check in and check out process. Their place was like a 5 star apartment, it had everything we needed with lots of personal, thoughtful touches as well as clean and comfortable. The view was breathtaking and it was a very peaceful neighbourhood, exactly what we needed! Highly recommend!

This is an amazing place to stay with a wonderful host that goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect and memorable. Location is quiet and peaceful. The beach and rock pools right there. We saw many animals including an octopus in one of the rock pools. The cottage is even better than the photo's. Would be a perfect place to live. Bed comfortable. We will be staying again in the coming months, we just need to decide when!

The apartment was lovely, fresh and clean. It was a pleasure to open the door and see a lovely apartment with new finishes. The location was perfect and a short walk to the beach and other walking tracks. It had everything we needed and more, Gerard left a few treats for us as well, including chips, chocolate and wine! We could not have asked for anything more. Thankyou for a lovely experience!

We had an excellent time here. The place was beautiful and just what we needed for a quiet Easter break away from the city. Charlie was great and very helpful and responsive. The place itself was very clean and the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone considering this property. Thanks again to both of you.
