We have a chocolate atelier, where you are always welcome ! The setting is immediately adjacent to the city's famous Graffiti Street. A tasting in the chocolate studio below is a must, after which stroll to some of Ghent's many boutiques, and perhaps the weekend antiques market in nearby St Jacob's Square. From the railway station, you take the MAIN tram line no 1 to the city centre, we are at 300m from the stop GRAVENSTEEN (castle)

Ontspan en kom tot rust in deze stijlvolle ingerichte landelijke woning op zo'n 10tal km ten zuiden van Gent. Alsook Brugge, Antwerpen en Ieper liggen op 60 km. De woning bevindt zich nabij de dorpskom van het pittoreske Baaigem. Vlakbij bevinden zich de Makkegemse bossen, ideaal voor een flinke wandeling en daarnaast een divers aanbod wandelroutes waaronder bvb de unieke bunkerroute. Voor de wielerfanaten starten hier talrijke fiets- en MTBroutes, dit op een boogscheut van de Vlaamse Ardennen.

Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. In de weide achteraan heb je een eigen plek met vuurput. Dit alles op de flanken van de heuvels van de Vlaamse Ardennen. Ideaal voor even met twee!
