Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mercer County

We had a wonderful stay while attending a writing conference in Bluefield. Beautiful surroundings and very cute inside. Exceeded our expectations!

Patricia was very friendly and accommodating. The house was a cozy 2 story. This house was great for 2 couples to rent to have their own space. Plenty of parking for two trailers and trucks. The outdoor area behind the house was very spacious! Would definitely rent this house again!

Nice and clean place and comfortable bed ,good to stay for a family vacation and lots of extra bed and the place is quiet and peaceful and Danny is very responsive host.We definitely come back to stay again.

Great older house that has been well maintained, and very cleverly decorated on the inside. Place was very clean and had lots of room to get around even for one of our party in a wheelchair. We only had three men, but plenty of room to sleep much larger group and had large couches in two different family rooms with TV's so several people could be accommodated. Pictures were accurate and cabin is convenient to ride all the Hatfield and McCoy OHV trails. Host confirmed wheelchair access quickly and they even had a little ramp to enable the wheelchair to get on the one step up porch that made it 100% wheelchair friendly location, something hard to find in this hilly area. Great hosts and would love to return and ride again when the leaves are out on the trees, although this trip was special as we mostly had the trails to ourselves. Thanks for sharing your little spot of "almost heaven".

This is our second time staying at Chad's place and it worked great for us. it's located close the the Hatfield and McCoy Trails and has plenty of parking.

We had a wonderful time. The house was wonderful. It definitely accommodated our needs.

Excellent location to multiple trail heads into pocahontas. Parking is the only thing that could be better but that's it. Well worth the cost for the stay . So if you need a place that is very nice and close to gas food and the trail heads 5 star

Perfect place to stay with group of friends that are going ATV riding. Good beds and good bed layout. Two bathrooms and large table to eat at. Also has good parking.

Guy was very nice and communicative, and the Hunkerdown Inn was a well-organized, cozy space. Any quirks of the Inn were thoroughly described by Guy, so there were no issues, and he was a fantastic host! The Inn being attached to the coffee shop/cafe was also a treat because the food and coffee there were great!

We really enjoyed our stay at Amy’s place! The apartment was very cute and homey with all amenities you could need. The location was great for exploring some of the parts of New River Gorge National Park off the beaten path, and it was beautiful and peaceful being right on the river. The trains passing by were a bit loud during the night and the water did have a sulphur smell, however, those things are listed in the description of the apartment, so it did not impact my rating since we came in knowing what to expect. Amy was also a very responsive and friendly host!

This was a great stay for us! Enough space for all of us to hang out comfortably, especially with access to the porch. We had a great time; Hinton is am underrated town, and the area is gorgeous.

This place was absolutely perfect. Owner responded very quickly and made the stay stress free. I could not have asked for anything better than this location.

Carriage House was as represented. We enjoyed our stay and the area. Everything we needed was provided. Nice location and neighborhood. The Carriage house was clean with easy access. Very nice and comfortable.

Fantastic spot to spend the weekend. If you are hoping for peaceful stay, make sure to book here! Pamela thought of everything and had so many little touches that made the stay comfortable.

We had an absolute amazing time! It was exactly what we needed and more! The location was great and amenities great for a long weekend! Worth every penny!! The only note for future visitors is you are able to hear your neighbors through the walls but as long as you are respectful and understanding, it’s no problem at all! We can’t wait to come back for many more trips!! Thank you Sam and Tim for the wonderful place!

We stayed at the Whitetail Cabin at Pipestem Place. The host was very welcoming, and the cabin was well-stocked with everything we could want for a weekend getaway. The scenery was beautiful and private and the cabin was well-designed and peaceful. The location is also very convenient for visiting various parks in the Pipestem, Bluestone, and New River regions, and the town of Hinton.

I stayed at the Backwoods cabin for about 2 weeks. The cabin was very clean and the hosts were great. Will be staying again if in the area.

It was an enjoyable stay in a cozy log cabin! Felt right at home and enjoyed exploring all the little treasures throughout the home! The bed was comfortable and the cleanliness of the entire cabin was excellent. Thank you for the great place to stay!

Robert is a great host, extremely friendly and responsive to all our questions! It was snowing when we visiting, and the road the cabin is on was plowed making it easily accessible. Temperatures were in the single digits at nice, but the place is well insulated and stayed cozy.

A cute little place that had everything we needed! Beautiful scenery. Peyton was very responsive and accommodating.
