Vacation rentals in Mercer County

Loved the cabin! Very remote and peaceful. The bed was super comfy and everything we needed was available. The trails are a little bit of a haul to get to but the directions left for us were very helpful, even with our tablet/maps. Wish there was a dining room table or maybe an island bar but we made do! Loved sitting in the front porch and out back by the fire pit. The best part was Josie, the sweet house cat. We will definitely miss her!!

Peggy’s place was nice and comfy. Perfect for our little family! She was a great host!!

We had an emergency stop in Rocky Gap due to freezing rain. Ashley's home was available and ready for us to use. She responded very quickly and was very thoughtful. Quaint little home. Had everything we needed to get through the night. Thank you Ashley!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was really nice and clean, and the host was very friendly and easy to contact. The house was in a great location and parking was perfect for traveling with truck and trailer for ATV. Would definitely recommend staying here

My friends and I met at Anita’s place, it was perfectly located halfway between my home in South Carolina and my friend’s homes in Pennsylvania. Anita’s back to the fifties home was exactly what we were looking for. My friends and I try to get together every spring and every fall, and we will most likely return to Anita’s place in the future. We are all cat lovers, so Elvis and his friends the were an added bonus for us!! We also enjoyed watching deer, in the back yard in the evenings!! Loved reading about the history of the family and the home that was displayed throughout the home!! We had a fabulous time!

This home was beautiful and a great place to stay while exploring New River Gorge NP! One note for families - the upper level rooms are not enclosed by a ceiling, there is a gap between the top of the walls and the dome. We had two families with 5 little kids and we were a little stumped about what to do with all the kids. At various ages, 3 of the kids could stay in the bunk room but we needed separate spaces for the babies to go so that all the kids could get a good night sleep. We found that having one baby sleep in the downstairs bedroom with their parents and one baby sleeping in the laundry room worked for us, but this is something to keep in mind for multiple families staying here!
