The cabin is only 50 m from the ski slope and in the immediate vicinity of Meråker alpine center. The cabin has a large living room with a cozy fireplace that warms well after a nice ski trip. Hytta ligger i en kjede med fem andre hytter på toppen av Fagerliveien, et steinkast unna alpinbakken og med kort vei til langrennsløypa. Hytta har: Tre soverom med dobbeltseng (to 1.50-senger og en utslagsseng) samt sovemulighet på hemsen. Stort bad med badstu i underetasjen, toalett i hovedetasjen. Gulvvarme og vedfyring. Garasje med elbillader. Mulighet for hjemmekontor.

Aasvoldsstua is 1 of 3 cabins belonging to Tevelsætra. Tevelsætra is a tuna where all the buildings are collected from their respective locations around the trøndelag, and everyone represents their own unique history. Aasvoldsstua has emphasized the preservation of the soul itself in the cabin, so that the building is essentially as it was in the old days.
