Vacation home in the Westerwald Westerwald heart

We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge. I – Janine, a trained hotel manager – am particularly interested in bringing people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Whoa! Wäller? – Allemol! The most famous greeting from the Westerwald Welcome to our ad for the vacation home at the junction (A10), in the Hessian Westerwald. Our vacation home is quietly idyllically located on the hiking mountain knot (altitude 605 m) surrounded by forests and meadows. In a few meters you have a beautiful view of the valley and find on site the entrances to the bike and hiking trails (also long-distance hiking and biking trails). You can also just enjoy the tranquility away from car traffic.

For families, the house, the village and the surrounding area offers a lot in every season. But also to work remotely, the cottage can be an inspiring retreat. The house is situated in a small 600 soul village 5 min. from the forest near Weilburg an der Lahn. It can accommodate many guests for its size and is well equipped. So if you want to hop in the car spontaneously without preparing much to get a taste of country air and want to have something from the starry sky in the campfire.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

In our vacation home "Auszeit am See" in the beautiful Westerwald in Waldernbach near Mengerskirchen you can relax from the stress of everyday life... Let your mind wander. In summer as in winter you can discover the surroundings or spend your time in the vacation home by the warming pellet stove

Ideal and spacious living in the countryside

Our apartment Rosenstein (70 square meters) in the Weilburg district of Kubach is located in a quiet residential area. It offers a parking space and a storage space for bicycles. The apartment has a separate entrance as well as a spacious terrace and fast Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic stovetop, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The shopping is very good, as bakers, supermarkets, a drugstore and a fast food restaurant are only a few hundred meters away.

THE small HUT - hiking. biking. experience nature.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Pure relaxation with the family, on a business trip or just for a break in the countryside. Located directly on the field/forest edge. From here you can directly access many hiking trails. Close to Weilburg an der Lahn with boat rentals, the picturesque castle and the unique ship tunnel. 5-minute walk to the village community house Löhnberger Lilie. A barrel sauna can be booked for an extra charge of €50 per day, on request and subject to availability.

Welcome to your cozy home with a fantastic view in the middle of Weilburg! The idyllic house offers a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room with sofa bed and balcony🏡🌄. The expansive outdoor areas invite you to relax. 🌿☀️ A loving goat enclosure awaits you just a few steps away – peting and feeding explicitly allowed! 🐐❤️ The large swimming pond with seating and reclining facilities provides cooling. 🏊‍♂️🌞 I look forward to your visit! 😊

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.
