Vacation rentals with breakfast in Mendon

Jeremy was a great host, very responsive the entire time and was extremely helpful with any issues we faced. The area is absolutely beautiful - up on a quiet hill not too far out of a couple different towns. You can see so many stars out at night in the sky - much more than I ever get to see at home. The heated floors in the house are very nice and it’s a super cute space to stay in. The driveway is steep, so definitely be careful if you don’t have a car with four wheel drive and the weather has been rough lately - but that goes for a lot of roads in vermont. Loved that there was a jacuzzi as well!

Great space! We were comfortable with a big group here, and loved being so close to the slopes. Hot tub seems new and is in great condition.

Alex was a great host- very responsive, easy instructions, and polite when communicating. The house itself was in a great location. Less than 5 min from Simon Pearce and Skinny Pancake and only 10 min from Woodstock. There’s also Jake’s Quechee Market which is well stocked with food/beverages. It feels secluded but still nearby plenty of things to do. The house is modern and the robes/hot tub shoes are a great touch. The staircase is not as hard to navigate as some others have stated. Kitchen could do with some more silverware/cooking utensils (we had a big group of 8) but our cooking was minimal so it wasn’t a huge deal. We did not use the fireplace but Alex provided detailed instructions if we wanted to. Hot tub was a large size and able to fit everyone comfortably. We had a great stay at the Quechee Haus!

Catherine's Simple Sanctuary was that indeed - cozy and comfortable, especially with the wood fire stove. Lovely location too. Quiet and peaceful, yet only 20 minutes from Mount Sunapee and the town of Newport. Catherine was a phenomenal host as well, communicative, informative, and very kind (in the face of crummy winter weather). 10/10 would book with her again. Thank you, Catherine!

This was such a welcome escape from city life! Property so peaceful and beautiful. View from the back yard is gorgeous - I love the fall colors, hilltops, sky and clouds! House was perfect in always for my husband, our Labrador and myself - cozy and warm. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Jon was very good with communication and suggests for outings at near by areas. Loved cruising the streets of Woodstock and Quechee. Fabulous walk at the Quechee Gorge. Loved the Woodstock Farmers Market - dangerously delicious treats of all kinds! Everything was easy to get to. People were kind when we were out in the community. It will be on our list to revisit! My group and I had an amazing stay here. Peaceful, relatively secluded location yet so much to do in the surrounding towns. Perfect house for a ski getaway - I will admit on the slopes I was looking forward to that amazing hot tub! House is equipped with everything you could possibly need and the hosts are very responsive and kind. Well worth it!

Our stay was a family group of six adults and my two grandchildren who are ages seven and eight. We decided to spend the week in Queechee with the second weekend being a family wedding. We loved the peace and comfort of a private home and especially enjoyed the backyard deck playing cornhole and barbecuing. Being tucked away up off of Willard Road was worth the very slight inconvenience of an extra five minutes or so drive to get back into Queechee proper. The owners were very responsive to any concerns or questions I had about the property during our stay. The home is spacious and lovely with attractive and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is open to the main level and very well equipped for cooking all your meals if you choose. our granddaughters enjoyed the games that are stashed away in the front closet Highly recommended!

Out stay was fantastic, the place was beautiful and clean. Instructions for check-in were clear, precise, and simple. The area was beautiful and quiet. Secluded put near lots of activities scenery was amazing. If I had any questions or needs out host Alicia was as quick to respond and was able to make sure I had everything I needed when I checked in. We will definitely be returning again for another visit.

Without a car, Sandy’s Airbnb is an easy & beautiful walk from Hanover Inn. There happens to be a free shuttle in Hanover to get to all points around the college and to DHMC (which is across town line, in Lebanon, 3 miles away) which allowed me to visit a sick friend with support, comfort and ease.

I couldn't have been happier with my stay in this charming apartment. Clean, lovely furnishings, thoughtful and welcoming touches throughout. Abundance of natural light, quiet and private, less than 5 -minute drive to town. Theresa and Ben are friendly and helpful, immediately responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

We had a lovely stay. Our expectations from the listing description matched our experience pretty well. Liz and family were super friendly and good hosts. Our dogs had fun playing together. We wish we'd checked on the sauna earlier because it was a quick fix to get it up and running but we didn't realize we'd need help from the hosts until it was too late. Kitchen is functional but nothing fancy so we're glad we cooked a simple meal.

ThI Airbnb was very cozy with a nice kitchen and comfortable beds. The Location was great, it’s very close to the gondola and not far from the restaurants on the mountain either. Overall we had a great stay here and we definitely enjoyed the hot tub after skiing.

Cozy rustic room with comfortable bed after a day of skiing! We initially were disappointed by the bare bones furnishing and the large gaps between their wood floorboards. However, the delicious breakfast, helpful hosts, and beautiful location won us over.

Linda and Ted are very welcoming hosts and have a beautiful home. We had a great weekend and would definitively consider going back.

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a ski weekend at Sugarbush! Super comfortable beds, clean space, and great breakfast for a nice extra touch. Felt like home sitting by the fire after a long ski day! We will definitely be back.

This is a very comfortable and pleasant B&B in a well-preserved and beautiful old house--they had a little guide to the history in each room. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in and the temperature in the rooms is nice and warm. Breakfast was delicious. The best thing about it was the hosts: they are very friendly and attentive. You get the impression they really like their guests and enjoy sharing their beautiful home. This place is an absolute gem.

If you’re looking for a quintessential VT home to spend a night (or a few), you will not be disappointed. Beautiful home in picturesque East Middlebury. Only four mile drive to Middlebury, so much to do and see and the bed was super cozy.

The Shaker Hill B&B is very comfortable and clean. The owner made us feel at home and was easy to talk with. I would say our 3-day stay exceeded our expectations. The breakfasts were great each day. The living room is available to guests and has books, games and antiques. There are also walking paths around her property and the adjacent properties. We were able to cross country ski on the paths as they had been packed down by a snowmobile. The dogs are also very friendly.

Cathy was the sweetest host, showing us around where everything was, and incredibly responsive to messages. Setting out breakfast for us in the morning was a great touch; very thoughtful! The place itself was gorgeous! An 1800's farmhouse with modern upgrades and still a beautiful, vintage charm and homey feel. WiFi offered, little chocolates in our rooms, plus fans and heaters for whatever sleeping style you prefer. We slept great and didn't have a single negative thought or thing to say about the experience we had. Cathy and her husband Todd were great hosts and we would ABSOLUTELY stay here again, whenever we return to VT. 11/10 experience!
