Have stayed here at ArtSpace before, and just like the last time, the place was absolutely perfect. It is clean, spacious, organized, functional and free of clutter. There is a patio outside where one can sit down and relax - read a book, or work on the computer. The WiFi connection is strong and reliable. There is solar power so no load shedding anxiety. Hot water is available and plentiful, and the pressure is strong. The area is safe and secure, and not only is there off street parking, you actually get to park in the garage. The garden is amazing, and you can lounge here or at the gazebo, or by the pool. Most of all the place is beautifully dotted by contemporary art that mesmerize. The place is near all the services and facilities you will need - malls, shops, restaurants, service stations, hospitals and clinics - making it a very convenient base for those special errands. This is the home you always have a reason to come back to. And the host, Teresa, is just wonderful.

I came with my 3 kids and hubby from CT. This was very peaceful and relaxing. I love clean bed..white linen and comfort. My kids could also play in the garden for hours. We spend lots of time on the patio even at night. In between we could also focus and do some work. The kitchen was very clean. The host was amazing and helped us with anythig we needed. It felt like home. Thank you so much.

Alex was a very friendly, helpful host! The cottage is in a beautiful space and very secluded, set apart from the rest of the property. We enjoyed our stay and have already made plans to return!

I had a comfortable stay at Louise's property. The place was sparkling clean and you get to have your own space. The host is very responsive at all times and she allowed me to check out at any time since it was a public holiday that day, I appreciated that gesture as I was not in too much of a hurry to leave the place. She also offered to have my laundry done since I was there for a couple of days, I unfortunately saw the message on the last day of my stay but luckily I didn't need any clothes to be washed. Thank you Louise for being an amazing host. I got to enjoy a walk around the area as well, it is very peaceful and secure.

We had a great family stay at Talia and Schalk's and would love to stay again. Among the many highlights are: beautiful large property with gardens, nearby park, backup power, great linens, affordable help available for occasional cleaning, and above all super friendly hosts. We also appreciated: high chair and baby bed were available, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking implements, the house and street are quiet and private, and it was easy to get to nearby shopping, restaurants etc. Thanks for having us!

I had a lovely stay at Lavender Cottage. Perrine’s place is lovely and comfortable, located in a beautiful garden and she is such an attentive hostess she instantly made me feel right at home.

This was our first time in Johannesburg, and we were initially quite concerned about safety. However, we were much reassured by the smooth self check-in process, in-compound parking, double-gated access to the premises, and very cozy house for us to relax and enjoy our time in the city. Everything we needed was available plus much more - the free breakfast items were a great touch! The bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet for a peaceful sleep. We were saddened not to have scheduled more days in Johannesburg with such a pleasant place to stay! Highly recommended for anyone in the area.

Ohh Melinda! What a great time we had. It felt like home away from home and Melinda and Ignitious were so welcoming. We laughed a lot with them and really made us feel comfortable. Lesley was very flexible and provided everything we asked for without hesitation. She made our stay comfortable. The bed and sofa were very very comfortable, there were a lot of extra blankets. The view is very beautiful and everything was very clean. It was quiet and pleasant. This place is like a home, we didn’t feel that there was something missing. Lesley also provided a lof of choices for coffee which is very appreciable. Everything was very organized and we found a lot of towels. I highly recommend her place, the only thing is to confirm the right address with the host before coming as Airbnb mentioned an other address nearby. Thank you Lesley for everything! Best cottage ever:)

The Short stay here made me feel very at home and although i left halfway for other things，i would definitely choose this place Again if i needed to return to Johannesburg😄
