We had the most wonderful stay at the crab shack! As a family of seven, it can sometimes be tricky to find a place that ticks all the boxes, but this home exceeded our expectations in every way. The house itself is spacious, beautifully kept, and thoughtfully designed to offer both comfort and style — there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. What truly made the stay special was the peaceful setting. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having the beach just steps away felt like a dream. It was the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy some quality time together without any distractions. The views were breathtaking, and the fresh sea air was a treat. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already planning our return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene escape by the sea :-)

The house has fantastic views, was spotless, very comfortable and had everything we needed. A great location. Rosemary was very helpful and responsive. We had a lovely time exploring the islands as well as having the opportunity to relax at the house.

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was so relaxing with beautiful surroundings. The hosts were very responsive and sent recommendations before our arrival of stuff to do. We loved the board games that were available! Was even better we could take our pup with us too! We’ll definitely be back in the future!

Only issue we had was, that we didn’t stay long enough!! We will be returning and staying for much longer!! The cabin was warm, clean, had everything we needed, the bed was comfy, hot tub was nice and hot! View was outstanding! We also loved how private it was. One of our favourite places we have stopped this year!

One of the most stunning places I’ve ever stayed at. Hard to describe the feeling of space and the expansiveness of the views. It’s jaw dropping Some salt in the cupboard and a dish cloth would have been useful but the view is what makes this place special, whether from inside or the hot tub And the animals - saw loads of grouse, pheasants, rabbits, horses, sheep. And a deer! All on the drive to/from the house

Booked for an off-grid stay. The cabin completely exceeded expectations - we had everything we needed including cooking utensils, fire starters, and indoor & outdoor fire and linen. Functional outhouse toilet and shower. Thanks so much for having us!

A lovely stay (2nd time) and everything we needed for a restful break. The accommodation is top class and the view is unbeatable. Linda was also really helpful when I had a query. I can’t recommend enough if you want a relaxing stay in quiet, gorgeous surroundings.

Stayed for 3 nights with my partner, just before Christmas as we were visiting family in Lossiemouth. Lindsay was super helpful and communicative as soon as we booked. The caravan was perfect, bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable. It was a wet windy cold weekend but once the heating was on, the caravan was lovely and warm. Gorgeous location right on the beach. We will definitely look at staying again (hopefully in the warmer weather!) so we can enjoy the location a bit more. Overall a perfect stay.

What can we say, home from home. Beautiful and cozy. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Ideal for our little family. So peaceful and quiet. Little to no internet so kids had no option but to communicate which was lovely. Had 1 little problem with the heating which was sorted within seconds. Can’t fault this place at all. The only problem we had was it didn’t last long enough. We’ve historically stayed in caravans but this has changed our mind for the future. Thank you Simon and Lyndsey.
