Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Melton Hill Lake

This place has the wow factor - stunning location and views, great outdoor area, very homely and well provided interior, cant fault it, it was everything we hoped for, didnt want to leave! Angela was a pleasure in online communication and in person, thank you.

Great house, very comfortable, well-equipped and with a well stocked kitchen. Convenient to everything in town. Best feature was the back yard, besides the usual birds and squirrels we saw rabbits, chipmunks, and even a groundhog (or marmot maybe, some big cute furry animal).

Gordon was very easy to communicate with. Such a nice guy! Definitely going to take advantage of their other Airbnbs in the future. The house was comfy, and neighbors were nice. Definitely recommend.

A very nice place in a peaceful area. Loved that every room had a king bed, which is a rare find. Modern house and comfortable furnishings. Shawn was a great host - very friendly and responsive throughout our stay. 10/10 recommend

We were fortunate to stay in this beautiful home for a month while our own house was undergoing repairs. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the thoughtful touches— the kitchen was stocked with drinks, snacks, breakfast items, and even delicious cinnamon rolls that were perfectly baked and just the right amount of gooey. There were also toys and treats waiting for our pets, which they really appreciated. The home was spotless, exceptionally well-maintained, and filled with comfortable, inviting spaces. We especially enjoyed spending time in the dining room and sunroom, where our pets loved watching chipmunks, rabbits, and deer through the large windows. Every part of the house was relaxing and made us feel right at home. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, especially when we needed to extend our stay or had any questions. We couldn’t have asked for a better temporary home and highly recommend this property.

The tiny house was so perfect for what we needed. We were driving half way across the country and needed a safe and peaceful place to stay and Jesse's was it! The shower was amazing and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with to go cups and such for coffee in the am. The outdoor sitting area was so nice after a long driving day with the TV and the fire flys! Thank you Jesse!!

Came to Oak Ridge for a week long program at the National lab. I was just looking for a place nearby the lab, that wasn’t too expensive. I was very happy with Jo’s place, it was very clean, she had cleaning supplies and everything was included. We even cooked throughout our time here. We didn’t have a wine opener and Jo came down and brought one to us! Such a great stay, would recommend!

Volunteer City Getaway is a WONDERFUL place to stay. We stayed for a girls weekend and everyone in the group agreed it was the perfect place, more cost effective than a hotel room and waaaaaay better than a hotel room!!! The apartment has everything essential you need, it was spotless (and I’m a clean freak), in a great location for everything Knoxville, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and floor mattress, good quality linens and kitchen supplies. We will definitely stay here again. Don’t look elsewhere, this place is great!!!!

Without a doubt, my favorite AirBNB to date. It is exactly the type of place I would love to call home, and Barb and Greg were just the most accommodating hosts. We had plans to get out and spend most of our time looking for things to do, but ended up spending so much time at the apartment, because the farm is idyllic and being there, reading a book that Barb supplied, was exactly what I needed. There was not one thing that we lacked during our stay. Barb has thought of everything, including snacks, teas, essential out diffuser (my fav), and a well equipped kitchen. If you love nature, wildlife, and gorgeous landscape, this is the place for you. Finding new friends, in Barb, Greg and Tucker were an added bonus. Thank you for a STELLAR stay!

Dawn and her husband were the perfect hosts. Very friendly and helpful, and we felt absolutely at home the entire time. The place is as described and with an outstanding deck and view of the lake. The Labrador Retrievers, Toby and Willy, greeted us every morning and became instant friends for our Labrador. We plan to return for another visit when we can take full advantage of boating and fishing on Norris Lake. One of our best Airbnb experiences and we can't give a higher recommendation for our hosts.

Great place and great hosts. We were just there two nights and it was perfect. Great location for us. Just as described. Easy parking. And super friendly hosts. Quality towels and linens. It’s not brand new but it’s clean, it’s roomy, it’s cute, it has everything we needed, it’s quiet, everything works. I’d definitely stay again!!

Patricia is a lovely host and her Airbnb is clean, cute, and comfortable. It is very dog friendly and in a great location. My dog and I enjoyed our stay very much!

Michael is a great host and the place is welcoming. It is bright, cheery space and the decorations are tasteful and eclectic. The kitchen is well stocked with sufficient pots and pans, basic spices, oil, etc. The bathroom had extra soaps and shampoos available, lots of towels, etc. its very peaceful and restful place. Great, walkable neighborhood. Grocers, drug stores, restaurants and gas stations close enough to walk too. So many great restaurants, music, markets, parks and things to see and do within an easy drive. Michael had great suggestions to meet our interests.

Our first Airbnb experience where all boxes were checked. The mountain views are simply amazing and added to our overall enjoyment. This is the type of stay where you don’t want to leave. There is room to explore, read, relax and play games. The location is close to town while still feeling the solace of the country. Special notes from Robin were an extra touch - many thoughtful details were incorporate into the design of this property, we appreciate your attentiveness. We were also able to relax (the bedding is very comfortable). This worked well for our party of 6, 8 can work also depending on the group dynamics. We loved the gardens too. Thank you, this stay was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday and Father’s Day.

They didn’t miss a single detail in this gorgeous mountain home. Cooking, the jacuzzi, sitting for hours on the patio watching the storms roll across the mountain tops, sleeping on a comfy bed, playing board games, watching movies, everything was wonderful! It’s a great location that’s easy to get to Townsend, and it’s super close to some of my favorite areas in the Smoky Mountains. Well done Karly and Joe!

We have stayed in many places on our many visits to Tennessee. Here has been our favorite so far. The house was beautiful and very roomy and cozy, had everything we could need and the back porch and amazing view was our favorite! Perfect location for riding, you can't beat just getting in your machine and leaving right from the front yard. We will definitely be back again!

The family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The home was right along the riverfront, offering the most peaceful and relaxing atmosphere and we fished the river each day. The home was welcoming the decor was nice. And it was cool waking up each morning and observing the river from the deck or by the fire-pit while drinking coffee and we saw multiple bald eagles flying along the river! The home was in close proximity Cades Cove and there was virtually no traffic…. And not too far from Pigeon Forge. I recommend and would love to return!

Great views! The bunk beds are small and the ladder to get up can be difficult, but overall great place and stay!

The cabin was perfect for me and my husband’s little getaway. The neighbors were a little closer than expected, but we never heard a peep at night. It has a beautiful view of the smoky mountains and close to everything. The only thing I wish it had was a cover over the hot tub so we could enjoy it while it rained. Everything else was perfect!

My husband and I had a wonderful time. This was one of the most amazing places we ever stayed. The place was even better than we thought it would be. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. They were very responsive and helpful. If you were looking for somewhere to stay with amazing views and an amazing home, this is your place !!!!! We had a lovely stay. Very close to everything Town has to offer but far enough off the paved road to feel secluded.
