Experience the peace and quiet of Lapland's nature and the midnight sun in a unique glass-walled experience cabin on the shore of a wilderness lake. Accommodation for 3, up to 5 beds for those sleeping in their own sleeping bags. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. Composting wood toilet. The sauna is wood-heated. If necessary, we will guide you in heating the sauna. Available in summer and early autumn.

On a winter morning, you can walk on beautiful snowy forest trails, listen to the silence of nature, and breathe in the fresh air.

Hunting Lodge Sattuma

Come and stay and experience a unique experience in the middle of the forest in a hunting lodge-like cottage in your own peace. The listing is located in the village of Meltaus, about 60 kilometers north of Rovaniemi. The cottage has a cozy and spacious living area. Sleeping arrangements in the loft for about 5 people. You can enjoy a sauna in a pleasant wood-fired sauna. There is a private fire pit in the yard. Ounasjoki river flows 500m away. You can drive directly to the yard. Shop and gas station 3 km. Bus stop 200m.

Lapland cabin by a lake

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

Upstairs bedroom Very nice view to river Ounas. Parking your car near cottage is possible. There are kitchen, living room, alcove, bathroom and sauna in downstairs of the cabin. Upstairs there is bedroom. Distance to Rovaniemi and Santa's village is about 50 kilometers so I recommend to rent a car. there is no public transportation
