Es waren sehr schöne 8 Tage. Bei Antonello wird Gastfreundlichkeit groß geschrieben. Auch seine Töchter und Helfer waren immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Waren leider zu falschen Zeit vor Ort ,da sein Restaurant noch geschlossen war und auch viele andere Geschäfte noch zu waren. Das WLAN ging leider nicht gut das müsste man noch verbessern. Wir werden irgendwann nochmal dort Urlaub machen,aber zu einer anderen Zeit wenn das Meer etwas wärmer ist.

Antonino’s house is the perfect base from which to explore this exceptionally beautiful part of Sicily. Taormina, Mount Etna and Savoca are all a short drive away. You can escape back from the tourist spots to this Oasis with picture postcard views and every amenity you could ask for. Antonino is a gracious host with a love for growing fruit and vegetables in his garden under the villa and sharing this produce with his guests. We were treated to home made limoncello, olive oil, passion fruit and mandarins, as well as one of his renowned barbecues which included some of the most delicious swordfish and mussels I have eaten. Santa Teresa de Riva is a pretty Sicilian seaside town with multiple cafes and restaurants where you can rub shoulders with the locals and try the specialties of the region. You will experience a far more authentic Sicily here than in the neighbouring tourist Mecca of Taormina. I highly recommend a stay at Antonino’s house. It was everything we could have hoped for

A must stay for fans of “The Godfather” The village has several scenes from the films. Take a drive to the quaint village of Savoca and have a drink in the famous “bar Vitelli” We spent our mornings walking around the village of Forza d’Agro, exploring the tiny higgledy- piggledy alleyways that went up and down with houses dotted around. Unfortunately many are not habitable but this adds to the charm. The apartment has everything that you need and has a spectacular view of the sea and surrounding houses below. The place is very clean and comfortable. The village has a number of restaurants to choose from at very reasonable prices all within walking distance from the apartment.

I had a delightful, but all to short, stay in Fiumedinisi. The home was newly renovated, spotless, and festively decorated for the 🎄 season. The place felt warm and inviting and one could tell the hosts took pride in making their guests feel welcome. A member of the host family, Marco, met me in the parking area of the town square having secured a space. He pointed out the local restaurants, bars, and points of interest - taking care to mention each place's specialty. I was escorted to the home, a minute from the square and given the grand tour that included the various aspects of the premises as well as suggestions on popular destinations and a willingness to book any tours like Mt Etna, transportation, etcetera. Marco speaks fluent 🇬🇧 and was extremely kind. He even treated me to a delicious breakfast at the small bar on the square upon checkout. I hope to return again for a longer stay. I had much to say about Fiumedinisi but ran out of room. Visit the look off across the river.

abbiamo fatto un weekend, ci siamo trovati benissimo, posto molto tranquillo immerso nella natura, proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili, ci torneremo

In het laagseizoen of op minder zonnige dagen is het bangelijk mooi vertoeven daar. Ik vrees echter dat het toerisme de charmante locatie, de rust, het authentieke kader dit de komende jaren de das om gaat doen. Een gezellige, open babbel met de gastvrouw bevestigt deze gedachte. We wandelden vanuit de sfeervolle b&b 16 km in de ongerepte natuur. Een nooit geziene bloemenpracht! De kookmogelijkheden zijn beperkt maar Rosa maakt met veel plezier en tegen vergoeding iets voor je klaar. Ontbijt is eenvoudig, authentiek en inbegrepen in de prijs van het logement. We genoten!

Our stay at Elisabetta’s place was great! The apartment is well located in centre of Reggio Calabria, 15 min walk away from sea and 5 min from train station. The place was clean, with a lot of space (3 rooms!). Elisabetta was very responsive and friendly. She helped us in emergency situation and shared tips about our stay and city. We will be happy to book her apartment once we are again in Reggio Calabria. Do I recommend? Totally!!!

Ci siamo divertiti molto a Reggio Calabria nell'appartamento di Barbara. L'appartamento ha una bellissima vista sul mare, è grande, pulito e dotato di tutto il necessario per soggiorni brevi e lunghi. Dall'appartamento a pochi passi da Falcomatà, dalla via dei negozi, nel condominio c'è un garage. All'arrivo ci aspettava un dolcetto che ci ha salvato dopo un viaggio estenuante. La proprietaria è una persona molto gentile e ci ha dato un sacco di consigli culinari e turistici. Grazie Barbara e Maurizio per la vostra ospitalità! :)

L'appartamento è bello, molto curato, inserito in un contesto splendido, la vista sul mare e le isole Eolie, tramonto spettacolare! Spiagge sia libere che attrezzate a breve distanza. Claudia è stata davvero molto gentile nel darci le indicazioni per arrivare, nell'accoglierci e nel darci preziose informazioni sui dintorni. Consigliatissimo! Torneremo sicuramente!
