Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Melbourne City

Sheryl and Hani were great hosts, very friendly and hospitable. Their property was clean with all the amenities provided and the pool was great for kids. She switched on the jets before our arrival which made the water warm for my kids to go in and enjoy. Also I asked her for late check out and she was kind enough to accept our request. I am very thankful to them. Our stay was very pleasant at their property and hopefully we'll come back again.

Such an amazing Airbnb, loved the location. The park across the road was perfect for our 2 kids! Easy walk to the markets and the 96 tram into the city. We felt right at home here, we are at a point with our children that high rise apartments do not fit our needs. This house was spacious and clean. We loved our time in the hot evenings outside in the courtyard together with family.

A very enjoyable stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The location is great, well within walking distance to the city and right by the South Melbourne markets. Would definitely stay again and recommend others giving it a look!

We loved our stay in Fitzroy, and were delighted with the house - which exceeded our expectations in many ways. It’s a brilliant location for all of Fitzroy and surrounding areas, with so many choices to eat, shop and the wonderful public pool right on the doorstep. Kali was incredibly helpful and allowed us a late check out which we were very grateful for!!

This was our first trip to Melbourne, and we stayed at this property. The house was exactly as shown in the photos—very spacious and clean. The host kindly prepared some light snacks for us, and we also enjoyed coffee and other beverages. Although we didn’t cook this time, the kitchen was fully equipped, and I believe we wouldn’t have any trouble living here. The host was very kind in our messages, and everyone in our group really loved this house. We’d love to stay here again if we have the chance. If you’re visiting Melbourne, I highly recommend this home!

This house is located in the CBD zone near to everything 1 minute to free tram zone. This is a unique house with high ceilings. very recommend for anyone who love large living room :)

This place blew us away! We were already impressed by the photos online, but walking through the door was a total wow moment. The house is even better in person—stylish, spacious, and packed with cool touches that made it feel like a dream home away from home. Perfectly suited for our family of 8, there was more than enough space for everyone to relax comfortably. The layout was ideal, and everything was spotless and well-stocked. The location couldn’t have been better—super close to the city and loads of great restaurants, with easy access via trams right outside. And the cherry on top? A cozy pub literally next door! We couldn’t be happier with our stay. Highly, highly recommend this property—we’re already talking about when we can come back!

The property was exactly as described. Very short walking distance to all that South Melbourne has to offer. And a short distance to Albert Park and 10 mins on the tram to the Centre of The City. Sonja was the perfect super host, extremely responsive and friendly with communications. Would definitely book with her again .

Beautiful place, Jenny is so accommodating and easy to communicate with. The apartment is beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stayed here as I needed to be at the Afred hospital earlier in the morning - work out perfect to get a good sleep and comfort and get to the hospital within minutes of leaving. Unit was very clean, and was easy to access. Highly recommend

A brilliant apartment for the two of us, situated in a brilliant location. The free inner city tram is basically 50 meters from the front door of the apartment complex. But it is also easy to walk to many central points of interest in the city. The apartment itself was modern, immaculate and cosy. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again when visiting Melbourne.

Can be a little noisy at night, especially on the weekend but didn't prevent us from sleeping. Some of the cups etc needing a wash before using but place appear mostly clean and comfortable.

Gorgeous old building with plenty of character in the perfect location for the international garden show! Karen’s studio has a great view of Carlton Gardens, is beautiful, restful with lovely breezes, and sooo many restaurants nearby (only a 5 minute stroll to Lygon street). A lovely cosy place to come home to. We had a wonderful visit, thank you!

John nous a fait une petite présentation de l'histoire du bâtiment à notre arrivée ainsi que de son inscription dans le quartier, c'était super intéressant ! Le logement possède quelques équipements un peu datés (encore fonctionnels, bien sûr !) qui rajoutent à son charme. C'est un appartement avec du caractère. Il y a également une laverie avec sèche linge et une piscine en extérieur accessibles dans le bâtiment.

had a great Christmas! thanks so much for having us. The house was massive, clean and fairly well equipped, could do with some more cooking trays and pots and pans but otherwise very good.

We had a great weekend away at Chelos place located in a nice historic part of Richmond within walking distance of everything. Accomodation was cosy and Hosts are fun to chat to and very helpful. Chelo is also a good source of knowledge for anybody interested in European fashion design !

Peter was very accommodating to us as we have had a late check-in at around 8:30PM. He was kind, hospitable, and his place is great!

Wonderful central property for family group to stay in. Very comfortable and homely for all ages. Encouraged informal catch ups in spacious areas available. Easy to get around with car spaces plus very close to public transport. Brenda was responsive and helpful.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s fantastic house! It’s a beautiful property, and larger than it seems in the photos. It’s also very well equipped, and with the crazy Melbourne weather kept us warm with the heating and cool with the aircon. Our pup really enjoyed her time there, too! The pool is also fantastic, and the decked area great for chilling out. We would love to stay again in future!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is super lovely, clean, cozy, and feels just like home. Everything was neat and well taken care of and Chelo is so warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Felt like staying with friends rather than just booking a place. Plus, their dog, Carla is the cutest! She made the stay even more special. I'll miss you Carla :) The house itself is tidy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay. Would 100% come back. Highly recommend!
