Vacation rentals with lake access in Mediterranean Sea

We loved our stay in Besse-sur-Issole. It was the perfect spot during our trip—peaceful, charming, and full of local character. The Airbnb was clean, comfortable, and in a great location for walking everywhere. One of the best parts? The croissant from the local boulangerie—hands down the best we’ve had so far in southern France. We really enjoyed walking into the village square each morning, grabbing coffee, and popping into the little shops and restaurants. Everyone was friendly, and the vibe was relaxed and authentic. A great stop if you’re looking to enjoy a quieter side of Provence. We took multiple day trips, super easy from this cozy retreat. The Gorge du Verdon is a must. We had fun visiting Canne, Antibes and Nice. Great day trips, best was coming back to Besse. Thank you Helene and Roxane. We loved Berg….❤️. Thank you!!

This place is amazing! It was a competely unique experience staying in Anna's place. The private garden up the hill afforded gorgeous views of the historic tower and town that turned magical at night when everything was lit up. When we explored the town at night, we felt like we had gone back in time. There were motion sensor lights on the stairs to and from the garden so that we could easily and safely see our way. We had the historic part of the nicely lit up town at night to ourselves, adding to the atmosphere. Civitella D'agliano was our favourite of the many towns that we explored in the area. It is a genuine and evocative beauty, not marred by masses of tourists or souvenir shops. Anna and her English speaking friend, met our car to show us where to park, and showed us everything in the apartment and garden in detail. Anna gave us many delicious snacks and an apple cake. She also arranged a reservation at a local restaurant that was memorable. Stay here. You will never forget it!

The best Airbnb we have ever stayed at - host was fantastic with info and responsiveness, well stocked kitchen, gift basket, firewood. Great location- walking distance to the park and very peaceful

We had the best time at Lorena, Carlo and Nicola’s place! The view is absolutely stunning, even better than the photos. The porch and garden are spacious and luxurious. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need and the bed is super comfortable. Everything within the apartment is good quality - Lorena, Carlo and Nicola have thought of everything! They are very friendly and helpful, and even treated us to a delicious homemade lasagna and tiramisu on our first night, which was so appreciated after a big day of travel. Carlo also drove us to the ferry station on our last morning so we didn’t have to walk with our luggage. Thank you so much Lorena, Carlo and Nicola!

Lovely stay, so peaceful and relaxing!

Amazing and very clean waterfront apartment. Google maps don’t show accurate directions so I recommend using Apple Maps, our host was very helpful to get us to the right address. The boat station (that you take to go everywhere) is only a few min away, the area is very safe, walkable and has lots of cool spots nearby - cafes, shops, everything. Kitchen is well stocked with high quality pots, dishes and supplies. Hot shower, and washing machine were very nice.

A beautiful Airbnb that has the perfect location. You can walk to the beach, but it is also in the middle of the beautiful old town. On the two balconies, you can have a cozy breakfast and watch the hustle and bustle on the street. The place was clean and Claudio warmly welcomed us to the place. There was even the possibility to leave your luggage in the accommodation before check-in time. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice time in Cefalu.

Alda & Mattea’s apartment in Lazise offers a truly spectacular view of the marina, without question the best view in the entire town. Waking up each morning to the charming harbour and blue water was magical. The location is perfect. Right in the heart of the town, it is still peaceful to relax and soak in the beauty of Lake Garda. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. If you’re visiting Lazise, this is the place to stay. We can’t wait to return!

Benedetta was a wonderful host, and very helpful providing clear instructions and helpful suggestions. We loved the location of her beautiful and well-equipped apartment, close to restaurants and the waterfront walkway as well as on the edge of the famous Villa Balbianello! There was a lovely serenity in the space after the bustle of busier towns around Como, and we appreciated the opportunity to let in the fresh air and relax in the lovely space!

The greeting upon arrival was excellent, we were offered an upgrade as some guests had cancelled due to weather, a nice gesture! The appartment was well furnished, clean and very comfortable. The location is excellent. Far enough from the busy touristic Bellagio but close enough to walk. The ferry pick up is just steps away. The grounds are immaculate and large enough to get a good run in every morning (5km) track style staying on the stone path that twirls the 42 hectar property. The grounds allow you great views of Tremezzo and Villa Carlotta accross the Lake and you can swim if the tempersture permits on the stairs that access the Lake. This is really a great place to stay! We loved Emanuela's place. It was in a walkable part of Tremezzo and the ferry was just down the street. There were great restaurants just in the nearby buildings. We ate all 3 nughts there. The kitchen in the apartment was also well stocked for us to make our breakfast. Emanuela has all the local information in the apartment and was such a gracious host. She even had a map to the nearby free parking nearby! Would definately stay again!

Very good location inside of Plitvice Lake area, very quiet with only few tourists and village people.

We had a lovely stay at Brankas cute little Beach House! Super beautiful surrounding, nice view and dreamy sunsets. Branka was super nice and helpful. A quiet nature break. Everything was perfect. The accommodation is very well-equipped, it matches the description in every way and the Nordic bath is really very pleasant. Cyril is a responsive, very discreet host and he advised us to visit very beautiful villages nearby. Go there without so much as a second thought, it was a real "disconnection" bubble, refreshing in the heart of nature 😊

We stayed at the place with three adults and two children (3 and 5 years) and had a great time. The surroundings are fantastic. You can have breakfast in the sun overlooking partly snow-covered mountains. From the property, you can take beautiful hikes. And by car you can make nice excursions to Cefalú or other hiking areas. Our children were particularly enthusiastic about the donkeys, the dogs and the spacious grounds. Manfredi was super easy to reach and always friendly. A highlight was that he brought us bread he had baked himself one evening. In the evening you can also relax in front of the fireplace. We will be happy to come back. The accommodation is highly recommended for those who want peace and nature!!

Absolutely breathtaking views!! The place is very clean and perfect for a couple looking to enjoy their time in Bellagio away from the crowds. We spent so much time on the lovely terrace/deck, the scenery is just phenomenal. Sara was very attentive and helped us with anything we needed. If you are ok to walk into town and back I highly recommend staying here, for the views alone!

Me and 5 friends stayed here for a long weekend and couldn’t have had a better experience. Jamie was really proactive and a helpful host but really this is all about the property. It’s in a really spectacular location with beautiful views and a great pool and garden. We had a fantastic time and I’m sure I’ll be back
