Waterfront vacation rentals in Medellín River

This place is simply AMAZING, especially if you want to get disconnected into nature with family, friends or a loved one. The location is perfect, super close to the town (San Vicente) and the airport. The rooms are very nice and they put attention to every detail. We really enjoyed our time and took advantage of all the activities they offer: bonfire, jacuzzi, sauna, hiking and more. We also loved their food and how attentive the hosts were, doing everything in their hands to make you enjoy your stay. They really surpassed my expectations in every way; my grandma and family will forever remember this stay. I have stayed in several places and I highly recommend this one and I definitely look forward to coming back!!!

It's a great place, very comfortable, at a fair price, staying in the village is more comfortable to be able to move around and shop easily. We recommend it.

We loved our stay at Casa Dodo. The apartment is so beautiful, comfortable, and conveniently located near the town square. We had a great time in Guatape and it was so nice to end our day at Casa Dodo. Valery pays attention to every detail. I love that she provided reusable bags for shopping and a compost bin. Love, love, love the sustainability aspects of the home. Also, the breakfast they provide is such a great added bonus. It was so delicious and complete. I definitely recommend it!! We spent two nights here as a family and loved it. It is exactly as shown in the photos and is very close to downtown Guatepe. The only recommendation would be to have instructions in the apartment to use the jacuzzi and the hot water in the house, which was difficult for us to set up.

We spend a spectacular weekend in Lagos de Jasu, in San Vicente de Ferrer. The place is beautiful and very quiet, ideal to disconnect and enjoy nature. Robinson and Diana, the hosts, are incredibly friendly and thoughtful, which made our stay even more special. The walk we took was a wonderful experience; we learned and discovered a lot about the surroundings. We definitely want to come back. Totally recommended!

Felipe is an absolute excellent host. His attention and communication skills are extraordinary. He goes out of his way to make you feel taken care of. The apartment is wonderful with an excellent view of Bello and the surrounding mountains.

Gated community, very beautiful backyard. The house was massive and accommodated 4 people really well and guest. Our co-host Luis was always on standby to help us out with absolutely “anything” we need. Anytime of the day or night he was ready for everything. We got the private chef as well. She prepared homemade columbian meals. Depending on traffic we were roughly 20-30 minutes from the local spots. Uber was easily accessible and cheap. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to anyone.

The place is amazing, the landscape is wonderful and the house is spectacular. The beds are a little hard but I have no words to describe the place... a WONDER. Betty and Helena, who welcomed us, were very kind. In the rooms, the perfume they put was very nice but a little intense, it's just a detail... Definitely 100% recommended.

From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with the location: perfectly central between Titiribí and Amagá, surrounded by breathtaking mountains and breathtaking landscapes. The outdoors and the tranquility of the surroundings made us completely disconnect and enjoy every second. The accommodation itself is lovely, with all the thoughtful touches for a comfortable and welcoming stay. The hosts were the best: super friendly, attentive and always willing to make us feel welcome. We felt right at home because of your hospitality. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for nature, peace and exceptional treatment. We are already planning our next visit!

Excellent service and an amazing view of the Guatape stone dam, highly recommended for large groups.

The location is the main star, it's in the end of a distant water branch ("Primavera", north from Guatape). ~0 tourist boats, neighbors' are barely visible, all quiet & filled with birds. The land is large & gorgeous, different orange & banana trees +vegetable garden. Direct access to the lake (down ~20 m hill). Water is comfortable. I rented kayak (Casa Encuentro) & bicycle (Bicirenta). Kayaking & fishing was magical. Cycling to Guatape is ~45 mins 1-way (11km, 400m ↑/↓) + u can cycle to Peñol via village roads. House inside is simple but functional. Kitchen well equipped. Sturdy mattress. Cons: on arrival electronic lock wasn’t setup, 1 window was broken, main door had no glass. I had to set up the lock myself, the windows were fixed in ~2 days. On the last day they’ve sent in lawn mowers at 9:30 am, with check out time at 12:00 & next guest coming in 2 days… But I got a later check out time. But now the house is all set, everything is fixed, you can enjoy the stay safely :)

Great location clean and open rooms was nice size and the 4 flight walk up was worth it will book again.

It's a lovely place with direct dock access. The kindness of the hosts, the delicious homemade food, the possibility of swimming in the dam, taking a boat ride allow for a very pleasant stay. The road to the lodging is good, somewhat difficult on the last stretch, but it is accessible even in a small car.

The host and his wife were very kind to us, very attentive. I liked that even though there were more people staying there, there was a lot of privacy. There are many activities, you can play billiards, enter the pool or jacuzzi, there is even a gym and some BBQ areas. This place is very close to the Piedra del Peñol, and you can see the rock from the place. It was very beautiful, I highly recommend this place.

The room and view was beautiful and serene. Waking up and having breakfast on the lake was surreal. The room was huge and comfortable, with a gorgeous view of the lake and a large private deck. It is off the beaten path, and a bit far from a town, but that doesn’t matter because the food cooked at the house is delicious. We had some dietary restrictions and she was very gracious and accommodating. This is for you if you love a tranquil style of vacation and don’t need immediate access to nightlife and people. The house is difficult to find without good signal, but Ana was very attentive and helpful. I will absolutely go back for another quiet, relaxing getaway.
