Over a mile of well maintained hiking trail winds through the woods. This peaceful setting is only a 20-minute drive to downtown Ludington & Lake Michigan. Hosting adults only, no children or pets permitted inside the A, which is designed by a couple to create a perpetually quiet and relaxing place for other couples and ourselves.

This is not a fancy property. Parking available along with amenities. A cozy space for indoor visiting and outdoor talks. There is a tub/shower combination, electric heat, window a/c (it's a small space), kitchen with stove top, toaster oven and microwave, living area with two bedrooms.

The Cottage

There is a small patio out back, with outdoor seating and grill, with a fire pit nearby. It is Private and romantic yet still close to Silver Lake, Stoney Lake and Lake Michigan. Equipped with a full kitchen, bath, and laundry. Heat and AC available, AC is removed during colder months.

Relax at this newly renovated 3 BR cottage with Silver Lake access (for non motorized craft - kayaks, paddleboards, etc.). We are walking distance to Mac Wood’s Dune rides, whippy Dip, Little Sable Point Lighthouse and Lake Michigan beach, and a short ride to the the dunes access. Bring the boat and off-road vehicles! The Rickard Cottage is very close to the hustle and bustle of the Silver Lake area, but provides a relaxed, efficient place to get away when the day is done. Mornings and evenings can be spent on the back porch surrounded by the woods. The Cottage is the perfect complement to a busy day at the lake. Ideal for 2 couples or a family with up to 3 children (appropriate for children ages 6 and up). Sleeping accommodations have been upgraded to 2 queen beds!
