Vacation rentals with a fire pit in McMinn County

This cabin was the perfect end to our motorcycle trip coming off of Cherohala Skyway. A local watering hole within walking distance, another within in a 5 minute riding distance. Her place was clean and perfect for our over night trip. I appreciate the fact that there was coffee, with available cream and sugar. I’ll admit it was hard to find food after 8pm, we had to resort to subway, which closed at 9:30pm.

It was amazing and she went over and beyond with Christmas decorations. She was very helpful with everything we needed. Would do it again.

The home was lovely. The drive way is very hard to turn around in. We enjoyed our stay over all. Beautiful view from the front porch.

The home exceeded our expectations. There is more than enough space in the home. We loved using the fire pit and the grill. And the table tennis in the basement. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds were very comfortable. We would love to come back to this very cozy comfortable home in the future.

Margaret and Peter’s house is in a beautiful and peaceful historic town. The house was clean and cozy. We will definitely be staying here if we come back to the area!

We stayed here for 2 weeks while waiting on home renovations to be completed in our own house. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet, and we loved the long driveway with extended area for additional parking. We appreciated have full use of the garage to park our cars out of the son and rain. The house was comfortable for our teenagers and two pets. Beautiful fenced in back yard that our dog loved. Kitchen was very nice for making meals and we appreciated the coffee supplies. King beds were very comfortable. Wrong time of year for us to enjoy the pool area, but would be super fun during the summer time and we appreciated the pool table/ping pong area for gathering friends during long, warm summer nights. The only draw back were the shallow bathtubs. Perfectly fine for bathing children, but if you’re a teenager or adult who enjoys soaking tubs, best save the soaking for the hot tub in the backyard. ;) All in all, it was a nice and comfortable stay.

This tiny home/treehouse was the perfect escape from all the stress of the world. I enjoyed every minute from sitting in the jacuzzi to warming up in front of the fire place! The grill was also a handy amenity that we throughly enjoyed. I love how the small space provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy God’s creation. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

This place is truly special! Even better in person than what the photos show. Barb has spared no attention to detail. From the towel warmer in the bathroom, to the chilled glasses in the freezer, to the toothbrushes and tiny toothpaste, to the beautiful modern farm decor, …this place is a STAND OUT among any AirBnb locations I’ve been to. Perfect for a quiet getaway! The apartment was fully stocked with everything you might need. Barb was very communicative, friendly, and immediately made us feel welcomed. The surroundings are beautiful! We enjoyed walking around the farm seeing turkeys, horses, and wildlife. The landscape is immaculate. The unit was SPARKLING clean. Furniture, bathroom, linens, floors, walls, …totally clean and look brand new. We arrived late in the evening after moving my son in at UTK. As soon as we walked in the door we felt right at home. I’d give this a 20/10 if I could! We’ll be back!

Our Volunteer City Getaway was wonderful! This space is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to anywhere you might want to get in Knoxville. The basement apartment has everything you could need during your stay, and I especially loved the peaceful deck/backyard when spending some time outside. Donna was a friendly and responsive host, we felt right at home during our weekend stay. I’d highly recommend this gem on your next trip to Knoxville!

We had a wonderful stay at Michael and Hilde’s place! The location was peaceful and beautiful, offering a perfect getaway. We needed to check in late, and they provided incredibly detailed instructions with pictures, which we really appreciated. We also brought our dog, who had a great time socializing with their friendly and adorable pups. Michael and Hilde were warm, welcoming, and very accommodating. Despite some bad weather over the weekend, they thoughtfully reached out to offer suggestions in case we needed shelter for the night. We would love to return and enjoy the close proximity to the water next time!

We loved to stay here, it is so peaceful, the furniture and the decorations are beautiful and the beds are really comfy. The porch at the river is outstanding to sit there and to enjoy the sunset. Wally Hindman replied always fast and I recommend the place highly and we will definitely come back.

Peaceful, beautiful location! The small kitchen wasn’t a problem for us because we planned on eating out for most of our meals while staying at this lovely apartment. The beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean, loved the towels! Nice host, she responded immediately when I contacted her. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

Margy was a great host! The listing fit our 6-person family well (2 adult couples and 2 children). The place has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. There are additional sleeping areas but they are in a common/shared space (keep in mind if you have more than 2 adult couples). It was clean and quiet. We had zero issues during our stay. I would highly recommend Margy as an expert host. She provides so many amenities (toiletries, plenty of bath towels, cookies on arrival, snacks, breakfast, etc.) - above and beyond expectations! We wish we could have stayed longer because the property was so beautiful!

We are return guests and love it each time. Place is clean and quiet, internet is fast, and we felt right at home. Neighborhood is peaceful and a short drive from the interstate. Will definitely be coming back!

Such a great location if you're looking for a secluded weekend getaway! There's plenty of hiking nearby, but staying and enjoying the quiet nature from the porch is all you need too. Brian and Nola were extremely friendly, and the cabin was exactly what we needed for the weekend.

Our maps kept taking us to the middle of the highway which is the address provided. We rode around for 45 minutes looking for the cabin. It was late and we couldn’t see well. If it were daylight we may have been able to find it on our own quicker. That is the only complaint. The area where the cabins were was nice and clean. Very cute. The cabin itself was very nice. They all looked brand new. Loved the wrap around porch. The shower was my favorite! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We were here for work, I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the cabin more. A hotel would have costs 3X more for the beds we needed. We were so glad we found these cabins and they were so affordable. We are in the area 2-3 times a year so we will definitely be revisiting!

Super cute place, perfect size and location for us. Very clean and hosts were responsive to any questions we asked. It was so cozy, we’d definitely stay here again. Love that it is also dog friendly!

It’s a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of any city. The loft is a neat setup, we really loved it. My dog enjoyed the open spaces around the cabin! Kathy was a great host - providing relevant updates and information. She was quick to respond and was accommodating. My only call out - Google map directions are not accurate. Trust the images you receive from Kathy and search for the marker she shares rather than following Google maps

The winter weather made the fireplace an inviting feature for game evening. We enjoyed the pool table and an all inclusive game of Mexican Train dominos. The changing colors of leaves was still providing a show. We will keep on our go to place.

I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. You have to be prepared for completely off grid. No tv no phone service. It was great to be able to sit and talk with my 17 year old without a phone in hand. I would definitely go back and spend a whole week.

The cabin was very new and clean. Very nicely decorated and furnished. This is a great place to stay if you’re looking to hike, kayak or just spend time with family at the camp site. They also have campers spots on the premises. We have a son that lives nearby and we will definitely keep this option open for future visits! Thanks for a great place for our weekend!
