Family-friendly vacation rentals in McLaren Flat

We had a wonderful time at this really special place. Having the aldinga scrub across the road with daily visits from the kangaroos was lovely. So much to do and very close to Aldinga Beach. Two nights was not enough. Thanks for having us.

Nice little apartment. It is located in a nice area very close to the main sights. The area is quiet. We only stayed one night before flying out next day so it was perfect.

Trudi’s place is the perfect city HQ for events at the Adelaide Convention Center across the street. We could walk and catch the free tram to the South Australian Museum, Adelaide Botanic Garden, Adelaide Central Market, great restaurants, and more. It was wonderful to have a full kitchen, laundry, and beautiful space to return to each evening. It is well thought out and very clean, and Trudi is so friendly, responsive, and welcoming. We highly recommend!

We had a great stay. The area is beautiful to explore and the views are great. Beach access is so close to the accommodation. We will book again.

Lisa’s place was perfect for our family of 4 getaway. Located right on the beach with gorgeous views of the sunset and 10 minutes drive to the McLaren Vale winery. The beds were really comfy and the living room spacious. Lisa was a perfect host

From the moment we stepped in the door we fell in love with the property, it smelled clean and fresh, the decor was rustic and cosy, the beds and pillows were so comfortable, we didn’t miss having a tv, instead we talked, played trivia, scrabble and word grants, did a little crochet and nibbled on local treats by the fire.

Neil was a great host. We loved staying at the cottage. The cottage had beautiful original features with modern conveniences. We loved the spa bath. The location was great and centrally located in Willinga and walking distance to local shops and cafes.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this unit, although we received clear instructions on how to get to the property, we had to navigate it in the dark as we came in late so it was a little tricky but this could just be us! And the councils house numbers not in sinc like we were used too 😊. Overall the place was in a quiet area, private, very clean and modern. We would definitely recommend it and will stay there again. There was even washing liquid to use for the washing machine which was a lovely touch (we came straight from the airport late so had no time to purchase any). Thank you Jackie and Jason.

This accommodation was recommended to us to stay at and we in turn would recommend it to others. We loved our stay. Lovey clean spacious rooms with comfortable furniture. With added bonus.. a lovely BBQ area and outside garden to enjoy. plus a very attentive host.

Only at Marianne's for 2 nights. Was perfect for what we needed. It is on the lower floor of a 2 storey home. Mariannes instructions on how to get there and what to do with lockbox, parking was spot on. Shower had great pressure, wifi easy to access. Didn't use pillows as we take our own. Easy walk to beach with stairs to go down. Close to restaurants and supermarkets. When you are there go to Pitstop Italian Truck up the road. Delicious pasta. Loved that just up the road we could drive our car onto the beach. Only issue I had, and it's my problem not Mariannes was that I unlocked the windows to open them, love fresh air, and when I went to lock them again I found it a bit tricky to do. Lucky I have a handy husband and he worked it out. Also the fridge is in the lounge, not that that's an issue but found that a strange. Overall, great experience, would stay again.

We liked it so much visiting a previous time with our first child we returned this time with our second! The kids had a ball and loved seeing, feeding and patting the donkeys, ponies, goats, chickens and dogs and wandering about the farm. They loved climbing the tree out the front of the accomodation and we ate dinner outside each night watching the animals being fed. Sarah was great at accomodating us and generous with her time and animals. Our son wants to live there!

Lovely little beach house. Mel was always so responsive to messages. House had a number of little extras. Ocean was in view from out the front and so close to all the hotels, cafes and restaurants of Victor Harbour.

Had a lively stay at the Bungala Beach House. Host Vanessa was fantastic, and very helpful with clear instructions and great local recommendations. Would definitely stay again.

We really loved our time here! It’s an older home with lots of character, style & very well equipped! This place is definitely great value for money! Location is superb & our kids really appreciated the family friendly touches! We are a family of 4 & stayed 5 nights. We enjoyed being able to relax here & explore locally. This was the first time we've visited Adelaide as a family, and we thought Mary's house would be a perfect place to stay. It didn't disappoint! The kids loved having their own TVs (with Netflix!) in their rooms as well as the great supply of games (Uno, Cluedo, Kids Trivial Pursuit, little animal figurines). My husband and I loved the fact that the house is right across the block from the beach and along the bike/running path that we used to easily walk to restaurants, coffee in the am, etc. I loved the clean and easy-to-use laundry room, and the dishwasher that kept us stocked with clean utensils, plates, and glasses. There's a great little deck (with dining table and chairs) and patio area. And the house A/C works like a charm, giving us a nice reprieve from the warm sunshine. We highly recommend to any families looking for a comfortable house in a prime location. Thank you, Mary!

All as described, well equiped, great check in and out with key lock box, a short walk (5 minutes) to the golf course resort which has a restaurant. Perfect for our golf weekend.

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

Wonderful to be back staying at the Coach House. I’ve had the pleasure over many years to stay at Josephine’s beautiful property. Couldn’t ask for a better host who has always been very accommodating with my family, making us feel extremely welcome and comfortable - a little home away from home. Thank you Josephine and Andrew!

We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. A big thank you to our hosts ☺️

We loved staying at Jessie's place. It is such a great spot in the middle of the city where you can walk everywhere. It was great having access to free parking also. We loved having an indoor pool and access to gym. As there was 5 people in the group staying there was plenty of space. We even extended our stay by an extra night as we enjoyed it so much. We will definitely book there again.
