Very cozy home in a very convenient location, across from Dollar General and car wash for our utvs. Bice enclosed backyard for our puppies and to grill out back with friends in privacy, we felt very safe for our kids puppies and our vehicles. Amy is great host and very kind. We definitely will be booking her home again.

My husband and I were married at the Presbyterian church in town and wanted a place to stay that was more convenient than our home 15 minutes away. This house was perfect for that! Phillip was kind enough to allow our family and wedding party to come over and get ready with us, too. The home was beautiful! We had a wonderful time staying here.

Thank you!! Debbie and Wayne. Every thing was as described, fully furnished, fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary items. 2 bath rooms with towels and wash cloths. Bedrooms were comfortable with pillows linens and extra blankets. Felt like home immediately. Hosts were very responsive throughout the process. We were there to ride the Warrior trail system. The house was conveniently located just a few minutes ride away from trail head. Very satisfied from start to finish…. hated to pack up and leave.

Such a wonderful bear-themed cabin with a unique spacious floor plan. It has all the necessary comforts while still preserving the outdoorsy wilderness vibe. Lots of privacy surrounded by the beautiful mountains and trails. There is even a fire pit! The host was very proactive and provided clear instructions and helpful resources in a binder. William was extremely responsive and accommodating. We definitely recommend his cabin for others visiting this area!

We’ve stayed in the area many times, but this house was by far the most peaceful! We felt right at home and had everything we needed for our stay. The grill and fire pit were great and the kitchen was well prepared for all the meals we made. We enjoyed sitting riverside and relaxing at the house, as well as easy access to the Warrior Trails. We also were able to trailer within 1-2 hours from Ivy Branch, Bearwallow and Rockhouse. We are already planning our next trip back! Thanks again for everything!

This was the first time I used an AirBnB to stay on the many of my trips to West Virginia to ride the trails. Ben has a series of cabins right in front of a trailhead. Its location location location for access to the system and the trail head office. It is located right off the main road so easy to find. Its close to Bramwell, so places to eat. It is a great small cottage feel with everything in great condition! The front door is a pain to lock but he has instructions for it.

Very clean. Had a good amount of kitchen items. The gas grill was a nice plus on the back deck. The A/C and heat were excellent. No cold or hot spots in the cabin. Parking was a little tight, so plan it out if you have multiple people with trucks and trailers. Great location! There are very active trains that go by across the river 24-7 so be prepared if you are a light sleeper. I am a light sleeper but liked it because It reminds me of my childhood. I don't think it would bother most people. Might be a plus if you love big trains. We plan to do it again.

This was our first stay at Covel Cabin, and it was a blast. Shelby was so responsive and available at all times for any of our crazy questions. Our trip was not long after the horrible storm but Shelby and Kam made sure the yard and house were cleaned up very nice prior to our arrival. The picture wall, in the game room is a great plus! The new home renovations were to die for😍 and always a plus they are dog friendly. We will most definitely be back to Covel Cabin 🏔️

Four of us stayed for the weekend to ride the Hatfield-McCoy Trails. The house had plenty of room for us and we enjoyed our stay. There is not much to do in Welch other than ride trails. The trains and trucks heading through town can also be loud at night.

It’s an old school building that was built in 1914. It’s 65,000 sq ft. They have taken classrooms and made them into bedrooms. Ours had 7 twin beds as well as a bathroom with a toilet and a shower. Breakfast was included It’s about 3 minutes to the trail connector for Warrior and 15-20 to the Belcher Moutain trail connector with Pinnacle. Marjie the host is excellent. She really made us feel at home.
