The cottage is located less than 1000 feet from Pinnacle Creek trail 25 of the Hatfield McCoy trail system and outlaw trails. We have a fire pit located out back for your enjoyment.

If you're looking for a place that is spacious and close to everything then we have it here. The Lodge at Welch has it. Completely renovated and can sleep up to 22 place comfortably with plenty of parking. We are short drives to Pinnacle and Hatfield & McCoy trail connectors as well as plenty of Outlaw trails or make a day trip to Winterplace resort for skiing and tubing. Warrior Trail Lodging, LLC The Caretta Cottage

Located approximately 6 minutes to War, WV and HMT trailhead. A Short, nice ride to the Wilmore Dam, and to High Rocks. NEW ADDITIONAL PARKING FOR LARGE TRAILERS across the street from the Cottage. In addition to approximately 50 ft. in front, 40 ft. in back, 30 ft. on the side of the cottage. SEE PARKING PHOTOS. We are on Rt 16, part of the ”Head of the Dragon” Motorcycle Riding Route in Caretta, WV. You will have easy on/off access to “Warrior Trail” from Caretta or War.
