Amazing stay at Mbuyuni Beach Village. This place is very beautiful, rooms are very confortable, breakfast and food provided at the restaurant are good quality. The lunch and the dinner proposals change every day. The swimming pool is perfect, especially when the tide is low and there are a lot of different places around to read or have a talk in a hamac or deck chair with an amazing view on the beach. The staff is very polite, nice and always there to help you. This was definitely the best part of our trip in Zanzibar :)

My stay here was great. It's a walking distance to the Kuza caves. It's on the beach and the pool is heated, so you can swim at night. Loved the sea view from the room. The breakfast is awesome too, with a variety. Overall it's a very good place I'd highly recommend.

We had an amazing time at Liza’s villa! It’s a very beautiful house, especially the pool area and the rooftop. Liza provided a lot of information about the house and the area beforehand, which was appreciated.

It was a pleasure to be at Dr. Thuraiya’s Mtitu House. Beautiful House with everything you need. It provides both living space and advantages of a hotel like Housekeeping. Dr. Thuraiya is a lovely person and always very kind and helpful in any occasions. Thanks for making my stay during my elective internship comfortable :)

The stay at the accommodation was very nice! You always meet new people there and the Muhimbili hospital, supermarkets and few restaurants are in walking distance. Dr. Thuraiya responds very fast in case of any concern. Would definitely recommend to stay there :)

Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Dar. The cafe next door is highly convenient and adds a really nice touch.

Very big room with much needed private bathroom which was nice. The patio and the backyard were so lovely. Also, the Green Bean Cafe adjacent to the house was a must and we are lucky they make amazing coffees there.

We stayed at Mtitu House for a month as we completed our medical elective at the nearby hospital. We always felt safe and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Dr. Thuraiya was very accommodating and promptly dealt with any issues we raised. There were many other students staying at Mtitu House which made for a good opportunity to make great friends. We learnt a lot from them, and made some amazing memories with everyone. Overall, Mtitu House was a relaxing home away from home. We would highly recommend it to everyone, especially students.

Great location. It’s in a prime location, close to the beach and very nicely furnished. The rooms are bright and fresh and breakfast is prepared every morning. Sofi is great and really you have all you need. I plan to come back again— I really enjoyed it.

I had an amazing stay in this room. I was here for a month and it was far too short! Location is great close to the hospital, gym and restaurants and grocery stores. The staff are so lovely and you feel safe at all times. I loved my room- the photos do not do it justice. Would highly recommend. Dr Thuraiya is a great host always reachable and happy to help if any problems arise.

I had an excellent stay at Mtitu House. Dr Thuraiya was a great host, always responding quickly to messages and giving suggestions about things to do in the local area. The house was very close to the local gym, cafés and restaurants and only a 15minute walk from the hospital. I met lots of other medical students whilst at the house who I was able to explore the area and go on trips with. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe with the 24/7 security who were all extremely friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff cleaned the social spaces daily and your room whenever requested. I would highly recommend this house to other medical students on their elective at Muhimbili hospital as an affordable safe accommodation where you can meet other medical students.

Jambiani is more chill than paje, suggesting it would be fun to rent a motorbike from rose to explore.Although there are some small conditions in the house, rose will find a way to solve it, there are cute dogs and a pair of cats in the house, which is very comfortable

Jos is very welcoming and did her best to make us comfortable and was very responsive. Her place feels like home as it has an openness to it that makes you feel like you’re visiting a relative or old friend

If you're looking for an unforgettable stay in Zanzibar, this is the place to be! From the moment you arrive, the hospitality is exceptional. They are incredibly generous, warm, and attentive—and helped us customize our tours and arranged transportation, saving us so much money! The location is ideal: just a short 5 to 10-minute walk to Jambiani Beach, with Paje also easily accessible. Plus, the property offers all the amenities you could need, including a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. This makes it perfect for longer stays . The breakfast is delicious, and everything you could need for a comfortable stay is thoughtfully provided. For the price, this place offers incredible value—it's an absolute gem and one of the best Airbnb experiences I have had. We miss you and Zanzibar - thank you so much

The place is beautiful and very calm. Do not expect a sea view from your room as the description title suggests. The provided breakfast is wonderful, however the lunch or dinner course portions are exceptionally small for the price. Apart from that, I recommend the place.

My stay was extremely comfortable-exactly what I expected and Abu and team were excellent hosts!!

This hotel is great - big, clean rooms and good local food at the restaurant on site. The location is a bit hidden away, but it’s quiet and accessible and close to the places in Dar that I like to visit. Overall, great stay with a great staff - in particular, Necter, Joann, and Steven.

Wow! What a fantastic place! Absolutely picturesque. Every member of staff always had a big smile on their face, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a pleasure each morning and the lunch and dinner menus were great. Whether it was by taxi or tuk-tuk, travelling around Jambiani and Paje was cheap and easy. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay to relax and unwind. Everything was "pole-pole" ( slowly-slowly) and " Hakuna Matata" ( no worries), which is exactly what we needed. Venessa was a wonderful host, and her help and support when we had flight difficulties was second to none. We had the most incredible time, and can't wait to return again.
