We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

Stube of the gateway - Martinsburg Castle

Welcome to the Middle Ages! Martinsburg is one of the few never destroyed castles of the Middle Rhine Valley, where the building fabric is actually centuries old. We have carefully renovated the parlor of the gatekeeper, about 50 m2, and approached today's needs with shower and toilet. However, you have to climb 45 steps before you can settle down comfortably. In good weather you can also linger in the flower corner in the castle courtyard or explore the castle park on the Rhine.

Our modern apartment has a very central location. In a few minutes you can reach the city center or even shops of daily needs as well as the train station. The apartment has about 90m² of a kitchen, a dining area, a spacious living room as well as a bedroom and a bathroom with rain shower and freestanding bathtub. The garden invites you to sunbathe and relax. The fireplace is out of service, but it is nice and warm due to the underfloor heating.

Spend a lovely time with friends, family or two of you. The place is comfortably furnished and very lovingly decorated. Also great the green courtyard. Pets are welcome upon request. We would like to invite you to our pretty, small townhouse in medieval Braubach. From each of our 3 apartments you have a beautiful view of the Marksburg. Cozy sitting areas await you in our small courtyard. Our house can be a wonderful place to meet family and friends. From here, you can hike the Rheinsteig, take boat tours or start with the Rheintalbahn to Frankfurt or Koblenz.

The property is located in Koblenz Metternich. The city center is 4.5 km away. Bus stop is out and about. Supermarkets (5 min), a bank (5 min), a pharmacy (20 sec), the Bundeswehrzentralkrankenhaus BWZK (7 min) and the University of Koblenz (2 min) are within walking distance. Parking is available on request right in front of the house. Free also in the side streets.
