The villa was just as described. Great location, walkable to the beach and close to bars and restaurants yet still private. We were able to check in early and were met by Maria’s family and all the amenities were explained well. Maria checked in with us regularly and came to clean during our stay. We even locked ourselves out and Maria was very helpful in getting us back in. Check out was also very smooth and easy. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Thank you for the wonderful time in this cute house. We enjoyed the quiet and private atmosphere. We especially liked the many places in the garden and the fantastic view of the sea. Check-in was completely problem-free and our hosts were always available. The kitchen is not that great. Dishes and cutlery were dirty and the dishwasher was broken. The beds are not optimal for tall people. All in all, however, a great airbnb.

We came 5 people - my husband and I, with our 2 children and my mother-in-law. First of all, a few days before we arrived Elena (an amazing woman with a perfect english) contacted me and made sure she has all the details so she can prepare a perfect stay for us. The house was super clean and equipped, and the outside was the best! We spent hours in the pool enjoying the amazing nature around us. Elena and her husband Yiorgos are wonderful people - they were very kind, caring and responsive. We wish we could come again next summer 🙏🏻

A lovely week spent at the villa for our family holiday. The villa is a short drive from Milatos and would highly recommend the taverna No Name. A car is essential as nowhere is walkable, especially in the heat. Crete is a large island, so we were confined to the east of the island to explore. We visited Elounda, Plaka beach for snorkelling and Spinalonga, as well as the water park. The villa is comfortable, set on 3 floors. The outside space is fantastic and grounds kept beautifully. Audrey and her team were very responsive to our queries and very attentive. They were also able to assist us with car hire. Would recommend.

We were well received! Angelina was a very nice woman to communicate with. The first night on arrival we got dinner from her because we were delayed 24 hours and the supermarkets were not open. Villa was very clean. Only downside was the wifi in the villa. The connection was very poor and in a room you had no connection at all. After we indicated that there was no wifi, she told me it would be taken care of. After we had raised this, we were in the villa for 9 days. During that remaining time, we didn't hear back from that. The taxi that was offered to take us was also a good taxi service. And all other activities and services offered were high quality. The cleaning ladies were good and thorough in their work which made the villa well maintained. In short, the wifi was a very nice vacation experience and a very nice host.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

This listing exceeded all our expectations! The villa looked even more beautiful in person than on the photos. Right after our reservation, we got a lot of information. Upon arrival, the fridge was filled with treats so we didn't have to get out directly for our breakfast. Regularly, everything was tip top in order, including fresh towels. The swimming pool is an extra plus and wonderful to get into laps every day. We had rented a car with which we explored the area. Near the property are several good restaurants within walking distance. Communication with host went very smoothly. In short, really an address to book if you are considering a stay in Crete.

We felt comfortable in the apartment. Communication with Nikos worked very well. Downtown is a short walk away, as is the airport with local bus lines.

I really enjoyed staying here. The view, the tranquility and in general the apartment was a dream to be in. I felt right at home and didn't want to leave. Always happy to come back. Highly recommend this property.

Having stayed in the area before, a quiet location was the most important aspect for me along with easy access to the beaches and a short walk into Hersonnisos. I couldn't have wished for a better location. The apartment was quiet with little traffic noise, compact and clean. The nearest beach was just a few minutes walk away with cafes and restaurants next to the beach. Hersonnisos itself was about 15 mins easy walk. The garden was a perfect spot for some sunbathing on those lazy days when you didn't want to leave comforts of home. It was an ideal suntrap. I didn't need anything from George on my 10 days, staying at Blue Coast Gardens -Juniper. but he was within easy reach with a whole host of helpful numbers and contacts made available, should have needed to contact him. It was great having a large comfortable double bed with good quality bedding and Aircon if it got too hot at night. All the equipment provided was in great working order, the apartment spotlessly clean. Loved it!!

We had a great time in Crete thanks to the exceptional location by the sea and Ioannis's availability. Ioannis's mom welcomed us when we arrived. She is extremely nice which helped make our stay wonderful. I hope to be able to go back.

A paradise for peace seekers who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We felt absolutely comfortable in this sweet apartment and would always come back here. The apartment was spotlessly clean and Katerina is a great hostess who always spoils her guests with delicacies from her kitchen and fresh fruit and vegetables from her own garden. This place is one of the best we've ever stayed in and that's why we can absolutely recommend it to everyone.

We stayed at Villa Elena for a week. ( Family of five / three children age 8,11 and 14. The Villa was lovely - nicer than the photos. We loved the pool - great size, a bit bigger and deeper than expected. The view was was amazing, i miss it already. Beaches, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Everyone was so friendly. George was a brilliant host - very responsive and kind He spent time giving great recommendations which was very helpful. We loved our time in crete and would definitely recommend booking here.

We had a wonderful time in Despina's apartment. We just liked everything and we felt welcome and comfortable. The description is great, the reality is much better. Despina is always helpful and responsive. We had some trouble finding the place. I wrote to Despina and she responded right away. She has arranged a meeting place with us. My friends and I really enjoyed this Air Bnb, we stayed for 1 week. The house is centrally located, very clean, spacious, newly renovated and had everything we needed. Manos is an excellent host, he responded quickly if we needed anything and even left us with Raki and some snacks.

We had an amazing stay in Agios Ioannis. The house is beautiful, clean, calm, with beautiful views and a great garden. Perfect location to escape tourism and enjoy the mountains. We highly recommend and hope to visit again!

This is the most special place I have ever been. These views are breathtaking. The hosts are the sweetest people ever!

As a couple staying here, we can recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay. Everything is as advertised: simple but clean. The terrace offers privacy and is surrounded by olive trees. Restaurants are on walking distance, as is the beach (20 min) if you can cope with the steep hill. As almost everywhere in Crete, a car comes in handy for any other trips.

We had a lovely stay at Mapia's home, everything was what we were expecting with the added bonus of meeting Mapia's parents and other members of extended family. They were all available if we had any problems (we didn't) but not intruding at all. George another family member, introduced himself and we could go to him if we had any questions. The house has a fantastic view and is spacious anf super comfortable for a family . It really was 'a home away from home', no cliche. Evi s such a nice, warm person. She was always available, recommended places, and was helpful in every way and full of cocern. Highly highly recommended
