Superb and charming 1 room apartment (25 m2), air-conditioned, totally silent, tastefully furnished, in a residential and secure area (close to the Presidency of the Republic). Very bright and quiet on the 1st floor (and top floor) of the outbuilding of a house 20 meters away. Property access is independent and private. Very nice equipped, WiFi, sofa bed, storage, storage, private shower room, TV, coffee machine, etc. 200 m pastry shop, restaurants, etc.

A well-appointed sleeping area features a spacious bed dressed in a patterned coverlet. Nightstands with lamps flank either side, providing soft illumination. A neatly folded towel rests on the bed. The room is framed by a window adorned with dark, patterned curtains.

Serious host attentive and available. after a breakdown in the fridge, Sidaty ordered a new fridge during my stay. The environment is very peaceful, the apartment is clean at the top. The caretaker is still available.

We were very fortunate to find Lalla's place on AirBnB. The hotels available in Nouakchott are upwards of $100 a night, which was more than we were wanting to pay for our week long stay in Nouakchott. We found Lalla's place and were so relieved as her apartments are much nicer than some of the hotels, and much more reasonably priced. Lalla was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Check in was smooth and she even arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and to take us back when it was time to leave. She was available for all of our questions, and went the extra mile to make sure we felt comfortable (even finding a small bed for our 5 month old son). The accommodation is good for the location. The AC works great and the internet is fairly reliable (faster in the morning than in the evening). There was plenty of hot water, and the kitchens are equipped for light cooking. Her apartment building is located in a quiet and safe area of Nouakchott, walking distance to a supermarket and an easy taxi ride to other places in the city. All in all a good stay!
