Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Maui County

The Gingerbread House turned out to be a dream of a spot for our long weekend on Maui. Each morning we awoke before dawn to a peaceful serenity followed by the growing din of island bird calls. We had our choice of balcony or ground floor patio spots for coffee to watch the geckos flit about. A cozy interior awaited us each evening upon our return as a sea of stars filled the night sky away from the light pollution of modernity. A gem of a stay, and can't wait to return.

We had an excellent stay at Pookela Paradise! We were on a girls trip and each had our own bedroom! Everyone commented on how comfortable our beds were and how well we all slept every night with windows open and a wonderful cross breeze in the house. Coming from hot, humid Florida I was worried about not having AC. The temperature was perfect. There was a beautiful kitchen/dining area but we ate out most of the time. We enjoyed drinks on the porch in the morning and late afternoon. The area was great for traveling to Haleakala at 4:30 am. Made it in a little over an hour for sunrise. Also close to the Road to Hana, beaches, and an hour to Old Lahaina Luau. The town of Makawao had some cute shops and restaurants. We could walk to town from the Airbnb. I would definitely recommend Mark’s Airbnb to friends/family and would stay there again! Mark is a great host!

Green turtle house was perfect. Clean, quiet and in a great location. Both Poni and Rick are amazing people, they treated us like family. We will definitely be staying here again and would recommend to all. 🤙 Poni and Rick

We had a fantastic stay at Emma's place! She went above and beyond to help us during our trip. Due to some confusion with time zones, we accidentally arrived a night early, but Emma stayed up late to help us find a place to stay for that night—something we truly appreciated. The next day, she kindly let us check in early and even allowed us to leave our bags after checkout so we could explore Maui without having to lug our suitcases around. Emma was incredibly responsive and helpful with local recommendations, and always quick to answer any questions we had. The place itself was super clean, cozy, and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. We definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Maui. Thanks again, Emma!

Ke Kīhāpai was a very beautiful home well-equipped with everything to make staying here feel like home. The lanai was perfect for both an afternoon barbecue and our morning coffee. The breakfast that was graciously provided for us was a great start to our days as well. We were grateful that Kili let us in earlier than expected and even more grateful that she let us stay a little later. We will definitely recommend friends to stay here when in Maui and hope to come back.

Hard to find a better place in this area even near this price point. Cara’s place is in this peaceful little nook hidden enough from the road that you don’t notice the noise of traffic but close enough to the beach that you could hit it with a baseball if you had a decent arm. There’s a great coffee shop just a short walk down the beach for breakfast and a cup of joe. The home’s backyard is a great lounge area. Gets lots of sun but is guarded by gorgeous bamboo groves. The house has plenty of space. There’s AC for the heat of the day or if you like to sleep in the cold but for much of the day you can just open the windows, set the fans on and enjoy the island’s perfect weather indoors and out. It really is in a beautiful, peaceful drive with family neighbors and kids playing in the street. It’s a stones throw from a gorgeous beach and 10 minutes from all the shops and restaurants and tours you could want. Thanks for having us.

Beautiful and tasteful renovated 60s condo, well kept and the garden, access to the mini beach is amazing. Well sized bedrooms with window AC and fans make the small amount of time you actually spend in there (because the garden is just so beautiful to spend evening and mornings) enjoyable. Would absolutely recommend!

The perfect spot to stay for an adventure filled Maui vacation. It is centrally located on the island where there are multiple food trucks, restaurants, and a grocery store in walking distance. The place is at an intersection of 2 somewhat busy streets but the street traffic was not heard inside. The apartment owner has a big map of Maui hanging up with about 20 suggested locations to visit which we found to be very useful as we did a 5-day self-guided tour of the island. I would stay here again for future Maui vacations.

This one-bedroom, air-conditioned condominium is a gem, offering exceptional comfort, cleanliness, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how immaculate the condo was. It's clear the owners take great pride in maintaining a high standard. The decor throughout the unit is harmonious, with a pleasing color palette and a continuity in the decorations that creates a serene and welcoming environment. The comfortable furniture was an added bonus, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The living room features a large TV equipped with most of the popular streaming app subscriptions, which was a nice touch for evening relaxation. One of the standout features for us was the bedroom. The king-sized bed provided the best sleep I’ve had in years! It came with a thick foam topper, which was heavenly. For those who prefer a different feel, the topper can be easily removed. Misti was a wonderful host. Very responsive to any questions or queries we had. Great location with many amenities and restaurants within a short walking distance. And the King bed was quite comfortable and greatly appreciated. Most 1 bd/1ba condos on Maui utilize a queen size bed for some reason. Would book again anytime

Great host. There were lots of beach supplies and the tropical grounds are beautiful. The couch/bed was comfortable. Short drive to all the well known beaches. The unit was quiet and the little park next door is also nice. Just a fantastic stay, all around!

Absolutely breathtaking view; our favorite part was sitting out on the balcony watching the turtles swim. It was clean and the kitchen had pots, pans, and cooking utensils which made it great for making meals at home. (We stopped at Costco after we left the airport and got supplies for most of the week.) Only two things less than ideal for us were the noise from the street to the bedroom (we didn't realize there was a noise machine in the closet to use!) and the bed size (full? double?). We are used to a king and it was a bit of an adjustment.. I fell off the bed at one point while distracted and sorely miscalculated where I thought the edge should have been. Ha! Only thing bruised was my ego... and being able to watch the turtles from the balcony all week definitely made up for it. We loved our stay.

this is the best Airbnb on the island! amazing neighborhood close to everything! it felt safe and had a hometown feel. everyone was so friendly. the place itself had everything we needed and the view was incredible! much better than the picture! when our host realized we didn't have beach towels he made sure some were delivered and we were thrilled to come back and see like 6 brand new thick beach towels!! having the washer and dryer in the unit made things so easy too! can't say enough great things about this place and the hosts ! we will be booking here for our next trip! 10/10 recommend!

Great stay! The location is walkable to the the beach and restaurants/shops via a nice pathway. The rooms were nice and there was lots of space. Patrese was very responsive throughout the stay. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect for our small group of friends to be able to catch up and explore the island together! Just wish our stay could have been longer. Beautiful and quaint. My wife ended up using one of the rooms as a bridal suite to get ready and had a great time!

Beautiful condo, had everything we needed. Well stocked kitchen, condo was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning unit in living room and bedroom kept us cool and comfortable. Great location with park and beach right across the street and walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. I'll definitely be coming back.

Dan the man did an awesome setting up the surprise flowers, champagne and chocolates for our 9 year wedding anniversary. View was amazing, layout is perfect for 2 and hosting people to come over and hang out and enjoy the view. AC was cold and I would book this condo again. High recommend.

The Treehouse at Robbins Estate’s was just what i needed while staying on Maui. Location was so convenient being just down the road from Haiku town’s marketplace and parking was spacious. The view of the treetops really gives you that Treehouse feel! The only thing i would suggest is to bring earplugs if there’s other guests staying in the room above you. Other than that, this spot was absolutely perfect! Thanks again!

Gary is a great host and very responsive. His place at Nanea is just perfect! Very clean, large space with kitchen and laundry that made our stay so easy. It’s beachfront with a beach walkway along the beach to nearby shops. You can also see sea turtles and fishes if you enjoy some snorkeling or just even with goggles in shallow waters with kids. The unit also includes parking which is super. We highly recommend d stayjng here and working with Gary.

Lisa and Marie were great hosts and the place is in a beautiful neighborhood. the area is peaceful and close to the ocean. The views from the Airbnb are awesome and the community pool and clubhouse are great! Overall we had a great stay on Maui and at Lisa's place.

Everything was good with host and accommodations. Noisy location right next to a busy road. Just the way it is as long as you know what to expect. No A/C.
