Bright holiday home in historic Mathildedal

Anttipoffi was completed in 1852 as a residential house for staff. Its location in the middle of a ironworks village, close to the guest marina, beach, village boutiques and restaurants, and Matilda Lake and Teijo nature trails are the best for a relaxed vacation or active sports vacation. Mathildedal is a year-round destination, thanks to the entrepreneurs who live here. The busiest village is in the summer and many find it most authentically outside. It's always unique, that's why here I get my vacation home.

The house has originally served as a room for a nearby farm livestock guardian and later a farm keeper. A great and very well equipped (actually better equipped than I thought from the photos) but somewhat primitive place :) It is very near the Teijo national park and is conveniently close to the bus to Salo. Elisa was very helpful in general and with providing the bus timetables too :) It is peaceful though as others say you do hear the occasional road noise, the only other tricky things was finding the warehouse key ... But overall recommended :)

Jaana accompanied us on the last stretch of the journey (which has a difficult pavement) until we reached the house, and once there she gave us all the directions for the operation of the different rooms of the house. She also provided us with information on places to visit. Jaana is a superhost. We had a problem with the front door lock, which required the services of a locksmith and Jaana handled it very quickly and effectively.

Great location when we were at the wedding compared to the wedding venue. Peaceful and beautiful milieu. Great boutiques and restaurants we had time to enjoy.If we had time, I'm sure I would have enjoyed the garden. Everything you needed was there. Good beds where you could have a great night's sleep. Thanks Jaana , we'll definitely be back. And what a lovely welcome surprise.

A really wonderful overnight experience! The barn was really beautifully decorated. There were beautiful flowers inside. The sauna was excellent and the steam baths were the best. The kitchen was well stocked. Wonderful rural peace. If we pass by again, we definitely want to come back😊

An idyllic house steeped in history, within walking distance of the city center in a beautiful environment. Beautiful home, wonderful details, good saunas, kitchen really well-equipped, house space for a larger group. Host Päivi was really friendly and answered questions right away. Lovely Villa Moisio, we recommend!
