Our apartment is located on Vía Rápida between 9 and 10 Santa Marta Varadero, in a very good location and with good comfort, very good lighting, totally independent of our house, and very close to the beautiful Varadero beach, 15 minutes walk. On the avenue in front is the bus stop for Varadero. The bus is 1 peso in Cuban national currency, the trucks are 5 pesos and the machines are 1 CUC, all in Cuban national currency. We also have Wi-Fi service.

The stay at the house was very pleasant. The cook service from Dorys and Mercedes, was wonderful, very helpful and professional. The bathrooms need some work, and we had problems with the electricity one night. The person in charge of Power ON the generator lives an hour away. Luckily, the electricity came back quickly. The house has a great location. Perfect for sharing with the family.

We had such good time staying here at the beginning of our trip, we came back at the end of our time in Cuba! These are incredible hosts ... the breakfast and dinner was delicious, so friendly, so fun to talk to. And good local recommendations. They helped us with arranging rides and that we had a good time in Carbonera. We highly recommend staying here!

An incredible stay here, Juana and Ilandy were wonderful hosts and coming home to them felt like a warm hug, after a long journey. We really cherished our stay, with them going above and beyond for us and would 100% stay again, if we return. We had 27 days and nights in Cuba, all in Casa's and this was the best by far for comfort, cleanliness and location. Not to mention that we always had power and air con for the 6 nights we spent there! Due to a booking mistake on my end, we ended up moving rooms and stayed in two rooms and both were great with the middle room being the biggest. Ernest's communication was great, very responsive and helped sort a collectivo back to Jose Marti airport when we left. Our host on the ground Bety was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, and her helper was also great, both keeping the casa spotless and immaculate. Having direct access to the beach and good restaurants, bakeries, etc just out the back door made our stay so much better than an all inclusive resort, having the freedom to come and go as you please and it felt like home! Thank you Ernest and Bety.
